Ridiculous hospital and the worst ER ever!!! 6 years old son had a bleeding head injury and waited 9 hrs before we just left. This was the worst hospital experience ever.

I am so grateful I just had a new baby boy July 9 21 and may I say I had one the best experience at vidant north. The baby center nurses were everything they were very nice very understanding and Dr Salen did an excellent job during my C sections I really missed each and every one of them as I left the hospital thanks y'all for everything may God continue to bless you and your familys

This is absolutely ridiculous. Still haven't even seen a doctor. This place is sad I now understand the 2.0 rating..
Update still waiting to see a doctor..other patient leaving going to Rocky mt. It's now 9:52pm...
Update if I weren't concerned for my boyfriend we would leave now this is just st silly 10:38 pm.

I had a pleasing experience at Vidant North but it was questionable. I visited Woodside to deal with the stresses of life. After 1 day I realized that this wasn't the same as what the nurses told me. I needed one on one not to be hospitalized and medicated. I was told that I could opt to deny service but they would hold me 3 days by law. After another day of thinking I decided to deny service. They then said they were releasing me in three days anyway. I was there 6 days because they said they needed to see now the medication works. I only took 2 doses though so I don't understand that. Anyway, if mental support is needed, you may want to just find your own else where .

Took my sister to the emergency room for breathing problem which she is a heart patient 80 year old and waited for more than 2 hours without seeing a doctor. This place is not good to be seeing patients at all. I have seen a lot of people walk out

Let me start I'm from out of state on business. I got here at 9pm its now 1:45 am and I still haven't seen a doctor. I guess if your in a poor area like this place you can't get good fast quality service

Went to urgent care determined radiology needed. Sent me to ER. 4 hours later still waiting for a doc. 8 patients piled up in waiting room. NONE have moved in the 4 hours. Absolute worst MD medical care. Lots of support staff to evaluate, but no docs for care!!!

I had to go to the ER for a very allergic reaction to a bug bite. Although the wait was a little time. The staff right down to house keeping were exemplary . it was a pleasure to have gone there they made it such a pleasant experience for me! I highly recommend going there God bless you all for such a great job!

I went to the hospital yesterday in an ambulance because I was in very horrible pain in my side area and still had to wait over three hours never saw anyone. I talk to the lady at the front and she said that sees people according to pain. I think that s a horrible system because some people have an underlined Heath condition. People I talk to in the waiting room had been waiting for over 8 hours. That s ridiculous. Horrible service.I left and went to rocky mount instead. They change the name of this hospital but the horrible service is still the same. You have no privacy. You can hear people information when they talk to the lady at the front. Workers standing around looking as you give out your information. I don t recommend this hospital/ death trap. You are better off coming to rocky mount/ Greenville or raleigh . ! I will never back to this hospital again!

Worst ER experience EVER!!! Tried to avoid the freaking 4 hr wait but Halifax Works isn t any better and sent me to the ER anyway. There is NO reason for the extended wait times. Customer satisfaction obviously is not the main focus here. Employees move slow as hell as if you have nothing better to do with your time. Next time I will drive the extra miles to be seen somewhere else
