Love Halifax Ormskirk but last couple of times I've been to Southport the branch has been having problems with the computers and not been able to open. Waited 15 minutes this morning before walking away and heard one lady say she complained last time about this. The bank worker told her if she wasn't satisfied she should bank with someone else. How rude. Really nice way to get customers.

Was in the town, far from home, had some confusing account movements, spoke with member of staff, got account print off for three months, all done in 5 minutes, better than my local bank, very polite.

Staff at the Southport branch not friendly or helpful. Considering they are closing branches down you would think the staff would go that extra mile and be welcoming. Unfortunately not at the Southport branch. Avoid if possible.

Halifax in Walton Vale closed. Halifax in Bootke Strand closed for refurb. Been calling branch in Southport ALL DAY to see if they are in operation and also have a counter service. My 91 year old mother is too old to use a card.

Unpleasant and unhelpful staff looking down on you...

Unpleasant and unhelpful staff looking down on you, ignore you for as long as possible on entering then eventually give incorrect information, don't know about their own products. The lady I saw only seemed interested in talking to the confused old people who have a small fortune sitting in their accounts, ( all of which you can't help but overhear, so zero privacy for them), chasing me out by telling me to go online and staring me out until I leave. Shockingly bad customer service, rude and hostile, avoid!
