Reason I give it a one star is due to the people working the register that day were rude some one on the floor gave us prices and when we went to pay they changed the prices again saying those prices were not correct and to cheap... First of all get everyone on the same page there on giving prices second of all last time I checked the place gets all this donated so how are they losing money?? By selling stuff cheap. I won't be going back here again

I was pretty disappointed. The staff was very unfriendly! When it was at the other building it was a lot more friendlier and you felt more welcome! the only thing said to me the whole time I was there was "that's not for sale"!

We went there looking for doors and lumber. No lumber, but lots of doors and some building materials. They also have used furniture, chairs and tables. We thought they were priced too high on most things, especially the doors, but I guess they are trying to make as much as possible to help build more homes for deserving people.

About Habitat for Humanity, Ventura County

Habitat for Humanity, Ventura County: Building a Better Community

Habitat for Humanity, Ventura County is a non-profit organization that aims to provide safe and decent housing to families in need. The organization has been serving the community since 1983 and has helped over 60 families achieve their dream of homeownership.

The mission of Habitat for Humanity, Ventura County is to build homes, communities, and hope. They believe that everyone deserves a decent place to live and work towards making this a reality by partnering with families in need of affordable housing.

One of the unique aspects of Habitat for Humanity is their approach to building homes. They rely on volunteers from the community who work alongside future homeowners to construct their houses. This not only helps keep costs low but also fosters a sense of community among those involved.

In addition to building homes, Habitat for Humanity also operates two ReStores in Oxnard and Simi Valley. These stores sell new and gently used furniture, appliances, home decor items at discounted prices. The proceeds from these sales go towards funding the organization's home-building projects.

If you're interested in supporting Habitat for Humanity's mission or are looking for affordable home furnishings, be sure to visit one of their ReStores or make a donation today!
