The lady in the front was a very sweet Christian lady who was very encouraging so that's a plus, BUT they put U in very HIGH risk areas like west Perrine which the cops R everywhere especially at night, where U can expect to get passed by 3 cop cars in a 15 minute span and there is a drug dealer on every corner, literally! Thanks for being a participant in the warehousing of the poor in high crime areas which is also near a nuclear power plant. B4 U get a plot from these people, get the address of the plot and spend the night there in your car to really get a feel for the area, it may B your life on the line!

Im sitting here looking at all of the negative comments people have to say about begin racist and the area they place you are so selfish and hurtful just because you wasnt chosen for a home the first time doesn't mean you give up and doesn't mean you say negative things because I am an Hispanic woman who was turnt down the first year then I applied the next year and got approve these ppl are good Christian ppl who wants to help and build are community so we all meaning black,white and Spanish ppl to get a home a house is what you make out of it they don't have to do this for us low income ppl do they?? What program do you see wants to help low income ppl?? Huh?? When I was referred to the ReStore,The man answers the phone
without acknowledgement of the company.Okay so I state that I have these items to donate. His reply was"I have a whole warehouse full of them" Without saying like let me keep you in mind,Or maybe you can have them to this place or something.
No very narrowminded yo say the lease.
Plus this is my first time dealing with Habitat for Humanity...Plus not to mention monies I was going to donate. Plus also my professional family and friends.Im going somewhere else.

The program sucks black oficials obly help blacks from there community so sad there are other races that need more help

This place is bs , how is this possibly low income when some people don't even make 26,000 a year!!! And the lady that I talked to was so slick and rude that I wanted to curse her out so badly but I definitely had to keep it professional.

Hit or miss finds. Purchased building products there for home from Perrine and Ft. Lauderdale restores never had an issue. Have seen brand new furniture from Room to Go donated to the Habitat restore.

Love the Habitat model. Helping hands so you can help yourself to succeed. Hand up and not a handout.
