Bought a fixer upper home to live in with my now 7yrs old daughter. When I first came there was no one there. A sign on the door said be back in 15 mins, but I sat in my car outside for about an hour. I was told they don't have actual applications and to leave my name and number and someone would call me. Which was written down on a piece of torn paper. Never got the call. That has been 2yrs ago. I thought they are suppose to help out low income/poor people in need.
Getting a great deal on a gently used furnishing or decor in order to give back to the community and build a greater future for those less fortunate is always a win/win!!! They have a large assortment of remodel materials and home furnishings
Got a fair bit of furniture for cheap while I was bumming out of my friends' apartment. For transparency I volunteered here once, but it was a worthwhile experience both as an errand boy and as a customer.
