I have been to many many apartment communities looking for the right home for myself and my family. The process can be so exhausting and most people treat you like another sale . From the moment I stepped into this community, Jamie made me feel right at home. She made me feel important and not like another sale. She was so knowledgeable! The apartments are so comfortable and you can tell that the folks that work there take good care of the place. I ended up purchasing a house but after my experience with Jamie, I felt compelled to write a review! Everyone who is looking for a home should go talk to Jamie.

Howdy, my wife and I have been here for over 2 years now and love the complex. The buildings aren't the newest in the world but the maintenance squad are on it 10/10 times. Jaime in the leasing office is awesome as well! The neighborhood is quiet, affordable (for the area, look, Boulders expensive no matter how you slice it), and there's a great park up front with hammocks, a little gazebo, fire-pits and a big communal grill. A couple minutes the other direction and you're at Gunbarrel commons park which is a great dog friendly area, a couple minutes further and you're at Celestial Seasonings Tea HQ. It may be a little far for the Pearl street crowd but we love coming home because bass isn't thumping through your walls at 2 am. A couple notes: pick up your dog poo, fines accompany if you don't. Most importantly during COVID and the dumpster fire that is 2020, management has been on the ball with updating residents on changes, lots of signs where masks are mandatory and generally pleasant attitudes. In years when the world is not ending, Habitat also organizes food-trucks and community meet n greets which are a lot of fun. Love living here!

I've lived in The Habitat Apartments for around five years now and I have nothing but positive things to say about my experiences. The front office has always been helpful, communicative, and accommodating, even with after hour requests. The maintenance staff is incredibly friendly, they ll make it a point to stop and check in and on top of that, my dog is obsessed with them (especially Ron). I ve never had to wait even 24 hours for a service request to be filled either. I love having the green space around the complex and I ve taken advantage of the accommodations you don t get in a downtown apartment, like the outdoor grill and fire pits and best of all, garden plots. I ve made many friends living here over the years, it really does feel like a community and the property managers help cultivate that through their actions and treating you like a valued member of their family. As long as I live in the Boulder area I ll be living in Habitat.

This place is great! The office staff are very friendly and helpful, the maintenance crew is prompt and professional, and the grounds and apartments themselves are lovely. Very pet-friendly, and about 10-15 minutes from downtown Boulder by car (if you have to take the bus it's a bit longer, however there is a stop right outside the apartments). It's not really in Boulder though, which means that the prices are excellent for the space you get. Their "studio" apartment is bigger than most one-bedrooms in Boulder proper.

Nice park nearby and places to walk, and the residents are also friendly. Only bad experience I had with them was due to a pest problem that was my own fault, and the issue was that the pest control company they used was incompetent--after one brief inspection they were convinced we didn't have a problem, so my GF and I had to take care of it ourselves. (Not really the management's fault either, as it was not a type of pest they dealt with often, and I'm sure the company they use is fine for more common problems). Can't speak for other reviewers, but I personally never felt "nickel and dimed". If I hadn't had to move to Aurora I would still be living there!

Probably the best apartment complex we have ever stayed in. Management is so professional, polite, positive and wonderful. The apartments are large and spacious. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. All around great experience.

I ve lived at Habitat for almost 7 years...and there are many reasons why I haven t left!! This is great place to live. Amenities are wonderful - I love the fire pits and my husband has a garden plot each year. The staff are kind and responsive. Renewal and rent paying systems are a breeze to use. And, most importantly, I love my apartment. My one bedroom with a den is larger than most other comparable units in the area. It is the perfect size for my little family. We also love how close we are to breweries, restaurants, and the grocery store. I strongly recommend checking Habitat out.

I have lived here since June, and have very few, if any, complaints. And these complaints are minor at best. First off, the staff here are incredibly responsive and kind, I have never had a negative experience when communicating with maintenance or office staff, I am continually surprised by their level of promptness, professionalism and understanding. These apartments are not Denver "luxury" apartments, but they have more than the necessities, including an open layout and a decent amount of storage. I have wonderful, kind, and friendly neighbors. Additionally, we live in an animal friendly community and there is plenty of green open space for your pet to get out energy with other neighboring pets. My single complaint is that there is not in-unit laundry, but luckily I feel completely safe leaving my clothes unattended as they wash in the community laundry room. Thank you Habitat, for making this place home!

My partner Jenna and I have lived here for a few months and could not be happier. The entire staff has been nothing but amazing and so responsive. The property is as nice on the inside as it looks from the outside. I could go on and on. We would recommend this place to anyone asking!

Best experience renting an apartment I've had. Jamie and Corey were SO SO helpful and extremely proactive during the initial process and beyond; always responding to emails and phone calls promptly.

The space is beautiful and large in our 2 bedroom apartment. Our patio is huge and we LOVE it. Everything is clean and works great. Across the road is the Twin Lakes off leash dog park, which has become a daily routine for us. The small shopping center 2 minutes down the road is so convenient and has everything you need- king soopers, anytime fitness, sushi, gas station, etc. Its a quiet area and surrounded around farms and open spaces. Laundry room is the cleanest I've ever seen at any apartment complex. Convenient Parcels room on site as well. Communal outdoor area is fantastic!!

We don't mind low lighting so the lack of room lights isn't a big deal to us, as it seems to be to others posting here. Cant think of any cons currently. We are both extremely happy with our move here. Thanks Habitat staff!

Lived here for almost two years and have been very happy. This place is fairly no frills but the price reflects this. The walls are thick and the common areas are clean. Maintenance is very responsive. In unit washer/dryer would be nice but the common ones are good and new. Many dog parks and green spaces close by.

We've lived here for almost five months and while that's a pretty short time, we've loved living at Habitat! From the moment we moved in we were impressed with the state of the apartment (no issues at all and everything was up and running by the time we stepped through the door) and how quick and easy the move-in process was! The apartments themselves are nice, spacious, and a great value for the price! This is also one of the only apartments I've heard of that allow up to three pets. The grounds are well-kept and the neighborhood is pretty quiet. Lastly, the staff is fantastic and super helpful. I'm looking forward to renewing as soon as the opportunity becomes available!

By far the best apartment community that I have ever lived at! I loved being able to look out my window at the big trees and green courtyards, which is hard to find in Boulder these days. The amenity spaces that they have put in around property really make it feel like home - you can go chill with friends on the shaded lawn by the community gardens, have a cookout and play lawn games at the amazing fire pits area, or take a nap in the hammocks around the property. Its also just a fantastic location with so many walking/biking trails, restaurants, and breweries so close. I love being able to get to both Boulder and Longmont quickly, but much prefer living outside of the bustle and traffic of the city. And with such wonderful neighbors and staff, Habitat will always feel like home to me!

Its unbelievable how many people live here, who do not clean up after their animals. Its disgusting and is one of the worst things about this place.

To the response below: Thank you, it is nice hear that something is in the works. When it takes affect and yields improving results, I will be sure to amend my rating. For anyone caring to read this low rating, it is truly my only gripe about this place and it stems only from the lazy inhabitants who take zero responsibility for their animals.

My husband and I were looking to relocate in/around Boulder and came across The Habitat apartments in Gunbarrel. From the moment I contacted the office, I was constantly in communication with extremely helpful and informative staff (particularly Jamie). Jamie very quickly was able to set up a tour and answered my countless questions. Although we ultimately were able to find a place in Boulder proper and thus did not move forward with The Habitat, I highly recommend this complex due to the helpfulness and transparency of the staff here.

My wife and I have been here for a year and just completed our lease renewal, which was easy. Coming from Arizona, we looked everywhere for a good apartment, and Habitat was at the top of a shortlist. We ve been very happy. We made some atypical and unusual requests, and they were delighted to accommodate us. The staff (office and grounds) are always friendly and professional, and they take good care of us. The website portal works well for paying the rent and opening help tickets. In our apartment, the construction looks new, which is impressive. The walls have enough Cable and DSL connections in every room. The insulation is excellent and holds energy well. It s very quiet. I rarely hear my neighbors, and in fact, I m not even sure there s anyone there. Even outside, I do not hear screaming children, barking dogs, loud parties, police sirens, jet engines, or gunshots. I can t even hear the train. It s a chill neighborhood. The management has excellent and sensible rules that are fair and keep out the riff-raff. People with dogs (I think) are required to DNA register their pets, which is aimed at those who don t pick up after their dogs, and so the yards are usually free of such messes. There are no parking problems here what-so-ever. The package room is centralized with one of those Luxer One locker systems, and there are traditional postal boxes outside between buildings. They occasionally put on social activities, but that s limited now because of the pandemic. Do look at everything available for rent. Sometimes an apartment with an additional bedroom only costs a little more; one of my neighbors upgraded from a studio to a 1-bedroom when she realized the difference. I would recommend this place to my good friends and family.
