Although I do not have any experience with the education provide by this Christian institution, as a local I am displeased with the un-neighborly and un-Christian way Gwynedd Mercy security officers, or "public safety officers," handle individuals who are lead onto the campus by the local park trail.
I understand this is a private university and they can ask people to leave if they are intruding, but simply riding my bike through an empty campus to avoid dangerous traffic on Sumnytown Pike seems like a bit much. Not to mention when I asked one of the officers, "so I need to go get hit by a car on Sumneytown rather than ride here without any issue," and he replied, "YES!"

God Bless, maybe the Lord will help you prioritize people's lives over property Gwynedd Mercy.

Great four-year university. I am a commuter student, and love that I can attend a prestigious university yet still live at home. Class sizes are small- usually under 30 students or less, and the professors provide individualized teaching experience due to the small class size. You are more than just a number in the classroom; you are truly a name. The campus is crisp and clean. Older buildings are being renovated each year, adding to the modern feel of this university. Every time that I have ever eaten at the cafeteria, I have always enjoyed the food. Centrally located around a magnitude of stores and places to shop and eat at.

Look elsewhere! I went to this "university" many years ago when it was still a college. Based on the reviews, it seems nothing has changed since when I went. I was an adult student for secondary education and the program was the worst. Once you're locked in to their program, that's it - your credits are good no where else. There were at least twenty people in my secondary education class - at the final, only three of us were left - and not because of the students, but because of the teacher. The students I spoke to who were just out of high school said that the campus life was non-existent and boring, that they hated it here (that hasn't changed, either). The classes are spaced so far apart that you can either stick around and be bored for hours or drive home and waste gas. After reading the reviews and seeing nothing has changed in all these years - that they didn't care to change, why would you go here?

A very warm and welcoming campus. As a transfer student, I found a home at Gwynedd Mercy University. The spirit of mercy is alive and visible within the faculty, staff, and student body! All my needs were meet when I transfered to GMercyU. They were awesome with sorting out my previous credits and getting my new class schedule! Wonderful Campus Ministry and choir. I love singing with The Voices of Gwynedd! Happy to be a senior at Gwynedd and excited to be a graduate next year!

It was ok up until the end when the professor went MIA. Ghosted the class after the 4th week (GPA). No one said anything, no one graded our work, they never offered to reimburse us for the class, nor did anyone apologize or give an explanation. VERY disappointing!!!

Gwynedd Mercy provided me with the ability to work full-time and go to school full-time in a graduate degree program. I am proud to be a GMercyU graduate. I had teachers that genuinely cared about me as an individual (which I believe was largely due to the small class sizes) and always worked with me to ensure I was being able to manage life both inside and outside of the classroom. I had great experiences with the staff in my specific program and also with other university staff as well.

GMercyU is a mission-centered, unique, and transformative institution that I am proud to call my alma mater. GMercyU practices what they preach in terms of their mission, academics, and campus culture. I thrived as a transfer student and instantly became an active part of campus life. I was drawn to the Mercy values of respect, integrity, and social justice as a student in the School of Arts and Sciences. More than that, I was able to find my path to the future at GMercyU by being involved in Student Government, Best Buddies, and Campus Ministry. The people I met and places I served prepared me to take on my future as a Distinctive Mercy Graduate. I think what truly stands out about GMercyU is the integrity and dedication of the staff, faculty, and admin - you are more than a number - you are a part of something bigger... the Mercy community! My education was a transformative and merciful experience that I will never forget. Special thanks to my advisor, Dr. Chapin, Dean McGarry, Dr. Roz, Ali Jabara, Danielle D., Ms. Pierantozzi, Dr. Schadler, Christine Eberle, Michelle & Betsy, Jeff Wallace, President D'Emilio, Dr. Amaya, Josh Stern, Taylor W., Renad B, Ludy R., Katie H., Jenny K., Plant Services, Parkhurst, and so many more who contributed to my experience and success at GMercyU. Thank you and wishing all the best for my fellow Griffins. -AH

HORRIBLE. DO NOT GO HERE. state they are "for the students" but only make decisions in their own best interest. worst decision ever made and waste of money. can go somewhere much better for a lot cheaper of a price.
