Gururge Hotel Management / Peacock Beach Hotel Review

Very nice hotel, under new management now. We were two families stayed at this hotel in two separate rooms. Very relaxing environment with really large garden and sea view is so impressive. You get to see peacocks at this hotel and in the area.

All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The management Mr Valeed, Ms Poornima and Mr Kushan, they were all nice. We were welcomed with fresh watermelon welcoming drinks.

Clean rooms and bathrooms. There is a complementary rooms for the drivers.

Buffet breakfast is great and we had dinner at this hotel and it was really good too.

They also have deals for the Yala National Park safari.

Very Beautiful And budget hotel in Humbantota.
Resort is very big with lots of rooms and rooms are all sea facing, the hotel service is also good.
Resort has two pools one is big pool and other is Infinity pool which is the amazing place in resort to watch the sunrise with the fun of swimming.
Resort has very beautiful view and it's on the beach itself which is the best part of the resort.
Food is also good and the breakfast is very nice and there is variety of dishes in breakfast.
Hotel rooms are big and clean and overall resort is best for family trips weddings and spending weekends also in Sri Lanka.

Hotel location is beautiful it's great but others are horrible just cheat people to taking the money

No any organization for full board people
Serve for lunch Rice & Curry ( rice and curries from the breakfast bufe )
On the mune nothing to eat
What are on the mune they don't how to cook (forienge foods)

This is good to coming as transit hotel or one day not more than one day because location of hotel enjoy nature

I accidentally ran into this hotel while I was looking for a decent place to stay in Hambanthota.

Turn out that this hotel is one of the oldest in the area and the staff was extremely courteous and helpful.

The rooms were clean and cost and offered breathtaking views of the sea.

The infrastructure is quite old but in a good way. Feels like you stepped back to the 90s in some place.

Good hospitality & superb Location. Amazing breakfast! The rooms were huge and clean. The bed was amazingly comfortable. Highly recommended. We were very happy with our stay. The swimming pool was superb with beach view..

It was a marvelous holiday for me & my family, we were at peacock beach hotel on our way to katharagama. we had one night stay there,
we reached the hotel around 1 O'clock in the evening & were warmly welcomed by offering cool towels & testy welcome juice. it made us refreshment.
Rooms are old but maintained in good condition.overlooking sea sight was amazing.
we had a tasty b'f with local & international varieties.

The resort is located near the cost of Hambantota just besides the famous Hambantota Saltern. The place is a quiet spacious location for a calm stay and the room facilities were exceptional. All the essential facilities were provided in rooms staff were friendly and helpful. The food was really good as well and there was a good variety of local and international cusine to select from. The hotel will arrange a campfire on the beach along with a calipso band on request at night which will cheer you up. And during the stay the hotel arranged a city visit in a double decor bus which was lovely. Can recemmoned this resort as a good value for money stay.
