Every Monday in summer there is a movie night at Canada Place Zumba and Wednesday. I think it's great that the city hosts such free events to get to know each other. Of course, Canada Place is beautiful and has great views of North Vancouver. In addition, one can observe the cruise ships.

Nice place where to have a walk in the Vancouver' bay. You can also see some huge luxury cruise ship in the bay and when they leave from the wharf are quite impressive. A lot of tourist attractions complete the area.

Very nice place but i was disapointed when I had to smell the dirty fuel from the cruise ships as they were idling when I was hoping to smell the fresh breeze from the ocean. The shore power technology was installed at Canada Place but most ships are not hooking up because of the large capital cost. This shore power hookup should be mandatory for all cruise ships to get the most out of this investment but more importantly, to keep Vancouver clean.

This is a very nice place to relax, you can easily spend 4-5 hrs here just strolling around. There are good food options as well and other attractions like flyover canada. Also we loved watching those huge cruise ships.

A lovely spot to visit, whether you're from Vancouver or simply visiting. Canada Place offers access to local conventions, an Imax theatre, and some breathtaking views of Stanley Park, and the downtown skyline. With nearby shops to stop by and enjoy lunch, and lounge while taking in our beautiful city.

Cool place to visit. There are often events and conventions and other events, particularly during holidays. On a nice day, it's worth going just to walk around and enjoy the ocean views! There are good restaurants and dessert places nearby.

In 1978 Federal, Provincial and Municipal governments commenced planning for development of convention, cruise ship and hotel facilities. Four years later, the Government of Canada created a crown corporation, Canada Harbour Place Corporation (known as Canada Place Corporation until 2012), to develop the Canada Place project on the Pier B-C site. Construction began when Queen Elizabeth II arrived on the Royal Yacht Britannia with Pierre Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada and William R. Bennett, Premier of BC to initiate the first concrete pour.
During Expo 86, the Canada Pavilion at Canada Place was opened by Prince Charles and Brian Mulroney, Prime Minister of Canada. Among the largest and most elaborate pavilions presented by any nation at any World's Fair, the Canada Pavilion hosted more than 5 million visitors prior to the October 13, 1986 closing date.
