I had heard a lot about it, but not as I expected. Personally I did not like these mega food carts ... delicious ... a meringue NOT meringue ... with chocolate top poured over .... even NOOOO.
Enough with pasta dishes, otherwise ... down !!!

Informal restaurant, Piedmontese menu, dedicated to those who prefer roasts or boiled meats served directly from the trolley. The menu usually includes a rustic appetizer, the first to be chosen among 4/5 alternatives (from risotto to champagne, to tortelli seasoned with roast sauce), to then pass to the carts of roasts or boiled (ranging from roast pork, to the classic roast, with baked ham, cotechino or tongue, braised donkey), the side dishes match the chosen seconds and, lastly, the desserts, also served by the trolley directly at the table. Friendly environment, adequate service and low prices. Ample parking. Suitable for groups. Above all, they don't rush you to leave the table. Easy to reach.

Finding a place and almost a miracle ..... and today I understood why. Appetizer, a good selection of first courses including the paniscia. The latter deserve a spectacular mixed boiled meat, house wine, a well-stocked dessert trolley, all for 30 euros.

I was at this place on a Friday evening for a dinner with friends and business associates. The environment is clean and, despite any obvious characteristics of an informal local, provides self-image of a certain decorum. The waiters are friendly, caring and attentive. The dishes, from the starters up to the desserts are simple, not processed (often a positive note) and have the typical "characteristics" of the restaurant "the good". Every course, mostly linked to the culinary tradition of Piedmont, is pleasant without, however, leave the palate perceptions bound to be memorable. For a dinner (or lunch) unpretentious but with the certainty of remaining satisfied, however, I would advise him, even under an optimum quality / price.

Sometimes very crowded restaurant at lunchtime. Calmer in the evening, reservations are required on Sundays. Excellent value for money, even the wine list is not bad, surprises can be found. The Piedmontese reds are very present, on Tuesday and Saturday the boiled meat / Friday a small choice of fish.

Excellent quality and huge portions (trolleys with big selections for starters, main course and desserts), friendlyness for a decent price. Stop here for lunch or dinner if you are in the area.

We ended up here for an unscheduled dinner. Typical Piedmontese cuisine, the menu is spoken verbatim, sometimes leaving out the details of the dishes in reality because there are many variations (for example we are told that they serve gnocchi, but leaving out the information of the sauce). Just ask, however, for explanations that the very kind staff will explain to you how their menu works, with their "carts". Do not miss the roast trolley, all very good. Prices much more than honest.

Lunchtime assembly line: basically good food, same menu for several years. Kind but overused service, with long waiting times when the place is crowded. Rude manager, you perceive that you are a nuisance, not a customer. Price for one second, a dessert and beer from 66: 15 euros, October 2017.

Good restaurant with large welcoming rooms to accommodate a good number of people. Classic Italian cuisine with local specialties and different choices of excellent and plentiful dishes. Also recommended for a low-cost lunch break. Great for dinners and festive lunches.
