YEG Wedding Video (Guerrilla Motion Pictures) provided the videography for our wedding back in October and although quite some time ago I found it hard to write this testimony as it was a constant challenge to concisely and fully summarise how integral they were to our wedding day.
From the initial meeting to when they delivered the finished product both Sam and Justin were extremely professional and enjoyable to work with; and throughout this process the value we received for our investment was above and beyond what we paid for. During our initial meeting we were able to create a package that allowed us to capture the vision we had for our wedding. Through this discussion we elected to hire two cinematographers which I would highly recommend as they were able to capture both of us getting ready in the morning, as well as, capture reactions and different angles during the speeches.
The day of the wedding both Justin and Sam showed up early and ready to capture everything they could. This proved to be invaluable as one of the photographers (from another company) got lost and missed most of the preparations at my house. As they were prepared and ready to start filming from the moment they arrived we were able to capture the preparations and moments that happened prior to the ceremony which were evidently absent from the pictures we received. Further to this Justin and Sam s passion for what they do became extremely evident while filming and after a few minutes they made being in front of a camera feel both natural and fun.
Like many who may be reading this review, my Wife and I had initially viewed the filming of our wedding to be a luxury that would only supplement our photos. However, having had the opportunity to watch our video it s apparent that the service provided by Justin and Sam were integral to completing our wedding experience and quite possibly the best decision we made throughout the planning process. The day of our marriage felt like a blur and we were hardly able to take much in, however, YEG Wedding Videos was able to elegantly capture these moments which we have since been able to re-live and hope to do so many more times in the future.
