Excellent Tex-Mex restaurant in a chic area of Austin. Food was delicious and service was fast and friendly. Chips, salsa and tortillas are made on site. It's a busy restaurant and they serve quite efficiently. My only comment, not necessarily a complaint, is that it felt a bit "corporate."

If you re looking for good Tex-Mex food that most of us and Texas like, you re going to the wrong place. The food here is more like authentic Mexican which I don t particularly care for. If you like bland Mexican food this is the place for you. Authentic. I for one , won t come back. But the building and decor is great.
Quite disappointed! Some of the most bland Latin food I or my sister has ever had. The setting was nice, but no real excuse for the poor quality of the food especially for the price.
The salsa and queso is great. I got tamales, but wish I would have gotten the queso on the side. Got a michelada to drink. Everything was delish! Would def go back.
So disappointing. Starting with the curt, short attitude of the host-the rest of the experience went down hill. Food was absolutely lackluster. Low quality ingredients will kill your stomach if you do any clean eating at all. Low service Please do not waste time or money; there are far better places to get your Austin experience on.
this used to be the best. I don't know what happened. Maybe like so many south Austin places they were bought out. Kind of tested like sadness. Even the bar was lame.
This is a great restaurant on South Congress. I got a frozen strawberry margarita, the tamale plate, and the divine fresh guacamole for the chips. The tamales!! Wooweee they were awesome. Tasty, huge, and satisfying.
DO NOT EAT HERE. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME. If you like white wash non-authentic Mexican food and homeless men constantly asking you for money while you're eating then this is the place for you. I had the worst experience at this place. My friend and I ate here on Memorial Day and chose to sit outside. While waiting for out appetizer a homeless man came up and asked us for cash, we only had cards and told him sorry we don't have any cash. He stood next to us for about 5 minutes and asked again and we told him NO! He went to another table and asked them. I ordered my taco's on flour tortilla instead of corn and still got corn tortillas. The meat was so salty and had no flavor to it. I asked them to remake my food, while waiting another homeless man got into an altercation with a server. The manager ended up comping our bill but the service was terrible. This restaurant is all about location. Do not eat here you will waste your time and money.
Maybe a bit overrated. The queso was good. Everything else ok. Waited 45 minutes on a busy Saturday night. That's expected. Should have stuck out the wait for a slice of Home Slice though!
hands down best fish tacos in central texas!!.. actually, best in texas!! .. haven't been in a while but i doubt they will change the menu anytime soon! if you likey yo fish on a corn tortilla go to guero's and get YO SLOP ON!!
I had much higher expectations for this place...Margarita was super small, not flavorful, overpriced.Waiter could care less about us and didn t even seem like he was listening to us...my boyfriend ended up getting a completely different dish then what he ordered. Only good things is chips and salsa. Don t think I d return.
Delicious beef and veggie enchiladas in a fun and funky atmosphere. Located in a busy, interesting and walkable neighborhood with a pay by the hour parking lot nearby.
Bad service, party of 6 took a long time to seat us though the place was empty at 5pm on a weekday. Food was average , expected higher authenticity tex-mex since its austin. Tables were very basic, wobbly and not comfortable
