Where is the no star option? This is the most disorganzed mortgage company ever.
We recently refinanced our home and this POS company bought our mortgage.
We have been trying to set up automated payment for two months now!!!
No one answers the phones so expect to be on hold for hours and hours. We still don't have our automated payment set up. Everytime you call them, and finally get through to a real person, they will deny that any prior conversations and payment arrangement have happened!!! If you choose to use this Company you deserve every bit of frustration you get. Several people are trying to warn you. Pay attention. There is some sort of scam going on here. I am writing my state attorney general asking his department to look into this company. Buyers beware!!!

The customer support Is terrable. Once they transfer you, good luck, you ll have to wait at least a hour and then they don t even help you

I usually don't write reviews but let me tell you this is the worst lender I came across as far as meeting customer expectations. My loan was initiated in April 2020 and I had sufficient balance in Escrow to pay for the insurance policy which was up for renewal in June 2020. After several attempts made by the insurance company for payment request to this company, they finally sent me direct bill. I tried to connect with customer service and also sent emails but every time my issue was noted and tickets were opened but I never heard back from them. I had to make my insurance payment myself to avoid any penalties as it was not paid by this company. Its really a pity that customers has to keep track of insurance and tax payments when they are providing regular payments as part of escrow every month. I would have given zero stars if allowed to do so. Really disappointed and will not recommend this to any one. I hope this review will help others.

I had the pleasure of working with Cheryl White and she was very informative and helped explain anything I needed. She was willing to help whenever needed and kept on top of things to get my paperwork processed in a timely manner. I would recommend her to anyone I know looking for a mortgage lender.

They call and call for a payment and when you pay it takes them a week to withdraw it from account. How hard can it be to hit a button and instantly take payment. They obviously set people up for failure. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

THE WORST!!!!! My home esurance coverage was cancelled due to lack of payment by Guaranty from my escrow. I called once earlier this week and after 58min the issue still wasn't resolved and my call was dropped. I called again today and spoke with Daniel and esurance on a conference call for 2 hours. After 3 transfers, he had no clue what was going on or how to resolve the problem. Esurance told him to over night the payment. He didn't obtain the address to do so. He wanted me to upload docs, he already had, to some random website and esurance to as well....like to do what his job for him. He definitely didn't do his job or have the ability to. I have no faith that this payment will be done or anyway of knowing. I'm now paying esurance directly to keep my coverage even though Gauranty already takes extra in escrow from each automatic month's payment for this exact reason.....SMH. I wasted 3hrs on the phone, like I don't have a job already and shouldn't have to do yours or pay extra bc of your complete incompetence.

Repeat business speaks for itself. We just closed on our second home with Jeannine Dalton and Guaranty Trust. This makes the third time I have used Jeannine and I would never consider anyone else.

Any obstacles are navigated with ease and you are treated like you are the only customer she has. This new home was the smoothest closing I have ever experienced. I will use Jeannine again and will recommend Jeannine Dalton and Guaranty Trust to anyone.

Five stars? Really more like seven.

This company is top notch and I highly recommend them to anyone with their mortgage needs. Kathy Cranmer was our lender and she was the most professional lender I have ever dealt with in all of my years through a home buying process. You can trust that when she tells you she is going to do something, she will do it. Her word is as good as gold. That is a rare quality these days but she holds it high. She made our home buy process so pleasant and stress-free. I was totally amazed at how quickly the process went for us. Considering how stressful home buying can be, Kathy certainly made ours enjoyable. If you are looking for a lender you can trust, please give Kathy and her team a call. I promise you won't be disappointed.

What a terrible experience, hold for 1.5 hours to hang up and request a callback that took 3 hours to receive. Then talk to someone and they point the finger at everyone else. Escrow analysis was wrong and the county confirmed my 4% but the mortgage company shows 6%. Too many 3rd parties to deal with then their callback number comes in as potential scam. Please consider a different lender for your mortgage.

Absolutely the worst loan experience in my Realtor career. Major disruption in the company during a loan causing it to fail to close twice and would never had closed if I(the REAL ESTATE AGENT) hadn't done all the work for them. Absolutely the WORST experience of my life. NEVER again will we refer to GT.
