GT's Beach Bar and Grill Review

Great food, little pricey but understandable with the view! Nice short rip from London

Went with a group last night. Our waitress was wonderful. We got great service from her. I can't say the same about the food though. The fries were cold. The nachos were dry and lacked toppings. The meat patties are not made with fresh beef. They're frozen and you can tell. Same with the chicken on the nachos and inside the tacos.

Beautiful day on the patio.....great service...loved the crab dip.......nice way to spend an afternoon of the long weekend.

A big zero!!! Band was told to pack up after the first set because of a short rain shower. When we asked why? The owner said our bus of 30 people from London who have been coming for 5 years, were not worth the effort. We came by bus to save time, travel, parking as well as being able to have a few drinks responsibly. We never asked to be seated together, I believe our biggest table was 8. There was no way the owner knew which tables belonged to us until we all got up and left as some people walked the beach, some went into town and shopped and some went for perch dinner at the Buccaneer. Our groups combined bills were over $3000 dollars. Not worth it? Sorry, will never return.

A favourite date night dinner spot. Beach restaurant patio is large and we've always found a seat. Servers are top notch and fast even when it is super busy. Convenient to a sunset walk along the water. Food is always good and they have a wide selection of local beers.

Waitress was good. Drinks and food came out quick. We had the poutine and it was delicious. Very good fries. Definitely coming back and spreading the word on this little beach gem. FYI, the prices were a little high, but what do you expect with where its located.

The pearch plater at G T's was good but for the price you pay for this hand cut fries would be better that the frozen ones.

The place is right next to beach, which is nice. The fish and chips was good. Fish was from page Erie and local, which was something we want. The fish was not heavily battered and was not soaking oil which made it really good. They also had live music over the weekend which I always like. They didn't have beer on the tap but a good variety on the bottle.

Good food, good beer selection, great atmosphere and fast service. Perfect way to end your day at the beach.

Love the atmosphere, the view is great, the service is friendly, and the food is yummy. Prices are comparable to other similar places.

Great menu selection. Great staff.Great Beach location. However this is not GT's fault, but, the parking payment process is joke. It is not very user friendly.

Not bad food. Some things are a little pricey for standard pub fare. All in all was not bad.

Acknowledging that Covid makes serving harder, I didn't have the best experience. My 90 year old parents were put at a table on the sand although I asked to be on the deck and the hostess was not very kind about it. It took an hour to get 2 lunch orders and the fish tacos had very little fish in them. Our waitress however was lovely.

The Good- Great service from Jasmin our server, and the other servers I have had have been wonderful. Awesome views of the lake. Great outdoor seating in the sand. The long islands drinks were great. The salsa and chips are great. (Add salt and pepper yourself to make perfect)

The fish and burgers looked good.

The bad-

The food comes out fast, which would normally be a great thing. However, that causes some issues with quality.

I wish I could post videos of the pool of "chicken juice" that came out of my sandwich. They pre-cook the chicken and don't grill it and it is soggy and leaks so bad that there will be a pool on your plate and your bun will be soggy. $17 for a mini sized chicken on a bun.

The quesadilla came Burnt to a crisp, and never should have made it to a plate. $18.

The green onion in the quesadillas is not a great idea. It's soggy, gets stuck to your teeth and you'll be annoyed.

There is a disconnect there somewhere, where speed vs quality is a bit off balanced.

The owner, Andy was more than fair and took everything off our bill.

Well will return for the chips and salsa and to try the fish and burgers.

Love this place! Located on a sunny Lake Erie beach in the small, pleasant, town of Port Stanley you will find GT's on the Beach. Service is always excellent and they will almost always have live music. You can sit outside on the lake or under their roof and enjoy the breeze and shade. As for the food, it is excellent. I enjoyed their vegetarian tacos.

Visited a few days ago. Amazing atmosphere and an extremely delicious fish and chips platter. Our waitress, Elvisa, was extremely delightful and kind. She made our visit 10x better! She was one of the harder working waitresses from what we saw. She made sure to check up every now and then to make sure everything was perfect. Hope to have her as a waitress for our next visit. Would be returning because of the food and the amazing customer service. Great job Elvisa!!

Going to Port Stanley on a Friday Evening ona long weekend awesome, the food the pikerial platter awesome. On a sad note on the beach in many areas people were not being COVID-19 responsible with wearing masks and not social distancing

Food and service sucked. Expensive for the quantity and quality of what you get. Literally the only reason to come here is for the location.

My first time visiting here. We were greeted by Jesse the security guard and welcomed. the food was good, and they are set up great with Covid-19 adjustments. Taylar our server was great! Had a lovely lunch on the beach.

Slow service still seems the norm here for drinks. Disappointed no pitchers of beers, all cans or bottles for beers

A great place to go for a few drinks on a hot summer night. The dedicated motorcycle parking is a nice touch.

The patio atmosphere, right on the beach in Port Stanley, is a great draw and is a good spot if you just want to enjoy some beverages. The menu and dining, however, is sub-par with most items fried and just poorly prepared and presented. Prices are reasonable and servers are cheerful and helpful. Could really use a true chef vs short order cooks.

I ve always loved the nachos. It was my reason for going yesterday. Unfortunately the disappointment from yesterday I don t think I will be returning. Our waiter was wonderful. The owner did try to make up for the mistake with our drinks and a $15 grift card. I just don t think that is enough for me to return. Waiting for food for the amount of time we did that never came is extremely disappointing when it s something you ve been planning for days we ending up driving back to London to get fast food definitely not a date night we expected or wanted

If perch is your thing, Thursday is your day. Picture perfect location. I would have given 5 stars if only with fries like this, they need to offer onion rings.

Classic beach destination for drinks and food! Great view of the water and beach! Beach games to play while you are there with kids or without! Beach volleyball courts right in front as well.

I always enjoy going to Gt's. The food is great, the staff is awesome, and every year they spruce up their menu with new stuff. They always keep the best of the old from year to year (especially the perogies and the perch). Definitely a six star restaurant

Great place to grab a drink, catch the game, and the food is delicious. Heaters for cool nights.

Great friendly service. Perch was heavenly and well priced for the portion. Pickerel was also good. Wonderful location on the beach and walkable from town. If we are back in Port Stanley I would definitely eat here again.
