Very incompetent and unorganized. No one understands their requirements. One person will request documentation and verify documentation is complete. Then, someone else calls back a week later and says your file is incomplete. Payment has been delayed over a month. Would you work for free for over a month? I think not.
Staff is knowledgeable, professional, efficient and reliable. Their response time to any of your concerns is highly impressive and worthy of emulation.
My son Alex is 24 now and has muscular dystrophy. With out GT Independence it would have been very difficult to have my son live at home and get the care he needs. I am so grateful to everyone one at GT Independence they are always so helpful and a pleasure to work with!
GT Independence has too many executives and management employees and don t care about anyone else. They want to make you believe they care but you re expendable and always will be. Employees are overworked and have been for years. Expect to work 2-4 people s roles without being appreciated or thanked. Executive team only discusses important things between themselves until it s time to ruin everyone s day. Managers aren t trusted with any information and even if they were they can t share it. They ll make promises that they will never keep. I loved the company for the first little while but when we were told from the CEO that you aren t allowed to have beliefs that go against their values or be involved with organizations that do is when I started to look for other jobs. If you re a bad employee you ll be treated special and probably get promoted but if you work hard, put in OT, and take on multiple roles be ready to be told you don t work hard enough. Don t work for this company, don t be fooled. The reviews you ll read are primarily from the clients or the clients employees that GT Independence serves NOT actually GT employees. GT is a payroll service and doesn t provide home care, so any review that says they provide home care or work for a client they are NOT employees of GT Independence. Reading those reviews will give you a false view of the company.
My wife and I have received services for several years. I have two large dogs, that can be very scary. This led to a few home health care providers taking one look at the dogs and leaving. GT enabled me to hire a friend to do the job. This has been a great stress relief and extremely helpful as our friend went above and beyond her duties. Thanks GT.
I love GT it gives the client you work with freedom they don't have to just stay in home at the whole time. Once you finish with tasks you are able to take them to see other family. Take them shopping or just getting them out.
Employed here for over a year. Love everything about it! Their covid-19 response was above and beyond. They are supportive, inclusive, and caring. Issues are resolved in under 24 hours at the call center, and they support self-determination on a national scale. Go GT!
Gti has always been good but this week they really went above and beyond. I accidentally sent in the wrong time period and they called me today ( Thursday) to tell me of my mistake. I panicked. I needed the money desperately this week. Lynn and a group of other people pulled together to ensure I get paid tomorrow and saved the day! You guys really are great. Thank you.
