Great large and well-run space that hosts several events throughout the year, good restaurant and well-stocked bar.

It is always a young place, lively and full of fantastic emotions.

An exhibition center that I didn't know, my visit was too fast for an accurate evaluation. I think the Milan base problem is parking, so I went with the scooter.

The space is very nice, it could host events of all kinds. Too bad for the BAR service, 10 for a drink with no table service, with a skewer of ridiculous size. This would be nothing, the real sore point is the service, people enough listless.

Very beautifull. Place where many activities can be done. Super evening on Friday evening!

Strange space but good events..can be pricey sometimes

Very beautiful structure that lends itself so much to the preparation of exhibitions and events. Inside there are refreshment points and in summer also an outdoor bar with seating.

Events always different and well organized. It is always a pleasure to go. The bar has prices in line with the market. If you need WiFi Internet, it is important to know that the line is very congested during the events.

We have been there several times the last time at Piano City in May 2019. It is an excellent example of the recovery of a building belonging to the urban archeology of Milan. It is a multifunctional space where you can find a bar, a space for exhibitions, a hostel, a co working and more from a theater.

I have been in this restaurant for an evening with good friends cocktails, very 'spartan' location, prices in the norm.

Last night for photography week (interesting evening) I paid 6 euros for a poor Poretti beer. I say 6 euros for a beer whatever, when Milan if they spend max. 5 for the craft of much higher quality ...
Weeks ago instead asked me 8 euros for a gin and tonic in a glass size and the Smurfs with a Gin bummer that you could not.
Really bad. At Base I never consume anything more.

Particular location, in practice they are two warehouses, but it has character. Gone for a theme evening.

I visited Base Milano as a participant in an event related to street art, the place is very spacious and full of life, the proposed activities are interesting, not easily accessible if you do not know the routes of the vehicles but certainly a place worthy of note

Great place to organize events, a really big space divided into different halls. The bar area is also excellent

A delightful place to chat, drink coffee and coworking. Moreover, it houses the offices of Wikimedia Italia.

Interesting exhibitions, presented and organized very well in a large and modern space divided into three large pavilions. It is also possible to eat inside thanks to a bar that unfortunately I have not had the opportunity to try.

I visited the Base during the Book Pride event. The location is very large to be in the center of Milan and is easily accessible by public transport

Former Ansaldo factory, renovated in open space mode. Recommended for corporate events.

For the Spleen Orchestra it is not the right location but for all other events the location is perfect

Milanese excesses of hipsterism mitigated by people "caught up" in the immediate post work. Ideal space for two words, a few beers and two steps.

Always interesting events. However, large industrial spaces and the number of people who frequent it make it a bit dirty and neglected.

Places of this type should be in every city or neighborhood. People need environments of encounters and discoveries of this kind to break with the traditional forms that only fall back on consumerism and individualism.

When there is a musical show it would be good to close all the side doors that carry the bar otherwise the noises in the background annoy the exhibition

Splendid location, excellent tasteful furnishing objects, excellent wine selection. (To taste the ARDITO, recommended by the chef, a full-bodied red, organic farming) The hostel on the first floor is a gem.

My experience is limited to a single event, related to the 'Milan Design Week' event so my review could be very limiting. In that circumstance there were many people both in the external area and inside the structure, but apart from the chaotic situation it seemed to me a place quite ready to welcome events of this magnitude. Perhaps the only negative is the long wait at the bar but in these cases I think it's more than normal. Definitely try again on other occasions

BASE Milan, a post-industrial recovery project that includes coworking, a guesthouse to host artists, the bistro "Un posto a BASE" perfect also for working or studying (and an outdoor bar on some evenings), as well as boundless spaces for host events, parties, concerts, workshops. The program is busy, but you can spend every day even just for an aperitif (8/10 euros) or to eat something for lunch with the food proposal "online": everything, from meat to dessert, is skewered on one wooden stick and eat with your hands.

I attended BASE during the white street market event, at its first edition and I hope it will become a regular event in the Milanese spring.

The place was very nice. It must be said that we went on a "Black Mirror" theme night organized by Netflix so the crowds and the atmosphere was very much dictated by the event. We were a bit at the bar. All right

A place of sure fascination for those who love recovered industrial architecture.

BASE is a very unique place worth checking out for a coffee, drink or just working on your laptop. The space is minimal but has it's charm and is carefully designed to be sustainable and evolving. There are various areas for different events and purposes, give it a try!
