Simply put they are absolutely amazing. From the initial email and conversation to the shoot and pictures they made every experience a delight. I could not recommend a photography company more. Gruber Photographers are the best! We hired for our wedding a couple of weeks ago and it was so fun and professional and made sure we got all of the photos we wanted. We loved working with Gruber photographers. Our photos are incredible and we are tough critics. The photographer was also an absolute PLEASURE to work with. For someone SO talented he was also SO professional. Honestly, he was easily the best of all our many vendors. We are so happy that we have these photos to love and remember for the rest of our lives. He really captured the wedding. The photos feel alive not static. It feels like OUR wedding not a cookie cutter event.
Gruber Photographers ran a very smooth operation and definitely were responsible for making our day stress free and fun. Creative with angles and depth of field to capture some really breathtaking moments. We took pictures in a church, in front of a fire station, downtown NYC, and on a boat... and managed to capture the most interesting and flattering parts of each location. They were extremely kind and calm, helping me stay/feel calm as well. We love our prints and have a great time showing them off to our friends and family. It's hard to put into words how incredible Gruber photographers are! From our first meeting, sending us little packages leading up to our wedding, to staying in contact after our wedding, they amazing to work with. The photos speak for themselves, they are simply stunning and timeless - I know I will love looking at them for years to come! They helped us think about every detail leading up to the wedding and made great suggestions when needed. Were flexible with their packages - we had her come to our rehearsal dinner instead of doing an engagement session. Davina and I wanted to have a way more traditional wedding but alas, Covid. So it was just our mother s, a rabbi on zoom, one hundred and twenty on-lookers from across the nation and our last minute addition Maike, a photographer from Terry Gruber Photography. Maike and crew from Terry Gruber s shot my sisters wedding 15 years ago and they did a magnificent job so if we were going to have anyone shoot the wedding it was going to be Terry s outfit.
We figured at first why do we need a photographer when we were going to be broadcasts over zoom with four cameras set up for the show and why expose our mother s to anyone who may carry covid. I spoke to Terry who said he had two photographs free that weekend and they were both extremely careful and would be wearing N95 s.
We chose Maike because we have already seen her work and now after seeing the results of our event we are absolutely thrilled. She came in and quietly took some absolutely amazing photos. So glad we properly documented our special day.

Our organization was in NYC for the TRAIL TO ZERO RIDE and needed a photographer at the very last minute. I called on Friday and Terry had us covered for Saturday! He sent Maike - not only a wonderful photographer but an incredible person who was full of energy and embraced our mission from the very beginning. It wasn't an easy shoot - photographing veterans and first responders riding 20 miles through the streets of NYC on horseback. Maike did whatever it took to get that great shot - running along side the route, riding in the back of the support truck, climbing a ladder.....I've only seen the beginning of the pictures but Maike captured our story and message of awareness of veteran suicide in the country. Gruber Photographers were amazing to work with. Very professional, messages were returned immediately, great work!!! I look forward to working with them in the future!
Terry & team are fantastic. They took amazing pictures for our engagement back in December 2019, and when I reached out to them nearly 10 months later for a color version of on e of the pictures, they got back to me immediately! I had a great time working with Terry & team!
