We love the library system here in central Minnesota. Though the main library in
St Cloud is beautiful with lots of book options, our closest library in Waite Park is nice and cozy. It's children's section is small, but quiet, so my kids can enjoy the area without other kids ruining around. The staff is very kind and helpful. Just a lovely place.
I really like the Waite Park branch of the Great River Regional Library. It reminds me of the neighborhood library I used as a child growing up. It's quaint and small and the librarians are generally quite friendly. They have a nice selection of adult and children's books and movies. The library is split into sections, one which is predominantly children and youth and the other which is adult. You can order books and movies from the library system and pick them up here. While everyone is waiting for the main library in downtown St. Cloud to open up after the recent fire, this branch is serving as a pickup spot.
The staff is ultra helpful and kind... Small and quaint library with a tiny spot for kiddos but very family-driven in their programs and demeanor
A very nice library. I really miss the one downtown. Don't really care for the muffler exhaust and glass blob artistry on the south and east sides of the building. Not sure who was on the committee for that one.
This library is fantastic! They have a great selection for everything!
I am not impressed with the ladies that work here. This is a very small library and it seems way over staffed for only being open for a few hours. I was also there trying to do homework and it is like the gossip hour. They are forgetting this is their place of work not grabbing coffee with your girlfriends. It is very hard to focus and READ with them gabbing in the background. Reminder this is a library.
Staff are normaly knid and polite. Service and selections are great too!
A nice and quiet branch with great great librarians.
