The first time I came to this place I loved it! Excellent croissant and good cappuccino. So I decided to come back. The second time was terrible. I waited 20 minutes for a stale croissant and a disappointing cappuccino. I came back again and opted for the Windsor breakfast and a cappuccino, hoping the previous time was a mistake. The lady at the counter asked me if it was for here or to go and, even if I said that it was for here, she made my cappuccino in a small paper cup. It looks like a cappuccino from a vending machine, and it is tasteless. Windsor breakfast was good. I love the vibe of this place but something needs to improve.

Super charming place for great coffee and treats! If you love a good cup of coffee, run don't walk to Grover's Mill Coffee. And they have a great selection of yummy treats to go along with that steaming cup. The staff was friendly and helpful. I heard they have open mike nights here. Sounds like a fun way to spend an evening. I'll be checking that out in the future and will definitely be going back for exceptional coffee and service!

The barista working the morning shift on Sunday March 24th completely turned me off to this place. When I was relaying my order to him, he was barely listening and being extremely rude. I felt as though I was doing a disservice to him by ordering food and cofee. The reason I gave 3 stars is because of the coffee and the cook. He was very nice and good at his job.

I love small locally owned coffee shops like this one. I had Pop's Roast, which is a wonderful dark roast coffee. The folks in the shop were super friendly. If you are in the area, make sure you stop in for a cup and a pastry, you will love it.

Great little spot for a latte! I LOVE this place! Great people, cool vibe, live music, and the best damn cup of joe in the area! One of the last old school coffee shops where you can actually smell the coffee. Will frequent every time I am in the area.

I finally made my first visit To Grover's Mill, motivated largely because after a decade of living in Greenwhich Village and working in Chelsea in NYC I've been spoiled by the likes of Blue Bottle Coffee, 9th Street Espresso & the more recently imported Stumptown Roasters, and was looking for a comparable offering here in the 'burbs. Unfortunately their Nitro Iced was kicked at 8am on a Monday morning which seemed like a major miss for a coffee house, aren't we all most in need of our hit first thing Monday AM? I opted for the traditional iced coffee and it was good, not great. It had the smooth finish of a properly cold brewed coffee but the complexity of a great roast was missing. I was also eagerly looking forward to the "great pastries/treats" mentioned in other's reviews, and as a bit of a scone connoisseur I was disappointed in the blueberry scone that was dense and doughy rather than the light and airy texture signature of a true scone. All in all, I would still pick Grover's over the chains every day of the week and look forward to sampling their espresso drinks for a more complete experience of their offerings.

All these coffees are roasted fresh almost every day, and there are a lot of breakfast and lunch options. Very good place to spend some down time since there's usually live music on the weekends too.

I'm not sure who keeps saying the owner of the coffee shop is the mayor, but this isn't even true. Don't know why this person still says so.

Grover's Mill is an excellent roaster even by Seattle standards. Their artistic blends and single source whole bean offerings have always satisfied. I am particularly fond of their "Rocket Fuel" blend but when that is unavailable I have been consistently pleased trying something new.

In store purchase is currently closed due to the pandemic but they have pleasant social distant seating that is sheltered if you wish to partake onsite. Service at the window counter is fast and contact free.

My normal roaster was taking a long time to ship my coffee order, so I went to Grover's Mill. I'm definitely going to be going here more often, especially because I can just go there and get coffee instead of waiting 4 days for a package. They have roasts ready, and they will grind it for you if you don't have a grinder like me. I got the Tanzanian single origin, would 500% recommend.

Fantastic Italian Roast! Wonderfully warm and friendly staff. Pop gives lollipops to my kids whenever he sees us. I go there whenever I need coffee beans, or just to get away for a bit. The gelato and baked goods are top notch.

Most importantly, they have great coffee. There are several varieties to choose from daily, and you can purchase beans to take home. The shop is unique and cozy inside. They also offer a variety of food items, mainly pastries.

I just got my first iced coffee here, and they use coffee ice cubes! The ice melts. But doesn't water down your drink. Fantastic.

I fully support small business, BUT anyone that likes to breathe oxygen outdoors, I suggest you boycott this establishment. My business was denied while ordering outdoors because I did not wear a mask. The employee was inside the building behind a glass wall wearing a mask and refused to service me. Requiring a mask for outdoor service is absolutely absurd.

My boyfriend and I stopped in this afternoon to pick up some whole bean coffee for our new drip and bean grinder to try out. The staff was very friendly and welcoming especially the sweet older gentleman who was there and the barista who helped to ring us out. It was really nice to feel comfortable and not rushed to make a decision/purchase. We had a really great experience and plan on returning to buy our coffee beans from grovers mill 100% of the time. Thanks a lot from two avid coffee fans! P.s. your beans made for the best home brewed coffee I've ever had!

I really like this place. The coffee was good and not bitter considering I have to drink decaf now. The ladies behind the counter were very friendly. Cool atmosphere. The woman who made my son's PB&J cut it into quarters; so considerate! Comfortable and welcoming; I'm glad it's close by

My first stop whenever I am "home" is Grover's Mill. It is far and away the best coffee you could find. Their attention to detail in every single aspect of their shop (including coffee ICE CUBES in their iced coffee to make sure it's doesn't become watered down as you drink it!) is incredible. I primarily live in Manhattan, where there are at least 4-5 coffee shops in every two-block radius, every day I wish I could have just ONE of them be Grover's Mill. It's also not just the exceptional coffee (and food) that they offer- the family that runs the business is honestly the best part of the experience. They are so kind and communicative and even always remember me! It is so obvious that they absolutely love what they do. This is a MUST for anyone in the area!

Best coffee ever. Never once been disappointed. If you want a great coffee this where you want to go. Can't tell you about the food because I mainly come for coffee. It worth going out of your way.

What a great coffee shop! Staff is very attentive, friendly and make a great iced vanilla latte! This is the first coffee shop I have been to that freezes coffee into ice cubes so that the drink isn't diluted - LOVE! My iced latte was also served with a paper straw and the drink itself was top shelf. I would. They provide free Wifi and there are ample places to sit inside and outside. Highly recommend!

Try the cold brewed Nitro for kick-start. The Rise and Shine breakfast sandwich with egg, spinach, Swiss and Sriracha mayo on butter healthy toast was great! Loved it. Took me a while to "get" the alien theme. Can you figure it out?
