What you see is a camel. This one dates from the harvest of 2018. There are others around. This is called camel because it looks like the bump of the dromedary. A crust is formed, gray, resistant to bad weather. This crust can have a thickness of 50cm. It will be used in salt removal after being broken
Tourist train very interesting with small stop in a museum and second stop to climb on a camel (salt mountain) overlooking the ramparts of Aigues-Mortes. Informative and exotic. Attention small trains are narrow try to take places in front of or behind the wagons
Very good visit with a guide Max who cheers a little joke, which made children laugh well I recommend the little train to discover the salt tides with family without much effort.
Superb enriching ride. Super friendly and attentive guide. Little price. I recommend
Great friendly team. They ship fast enough, the staff is friendly
Unmissable place. To visit absolutely. Visit with the small train 1h10 where one learns a lot of things about salt. And with a little luck we can observe the flamingos.
A bit expensive 10 euros
Disappointed. Nice walk that will take you to an old museum .... and a shop identical to that of the departure
In conclusion everything is salty. ...
If you are in a wheelchair ..... I think it would not be noticed so
Good box in general, but missing some signs to the loading dock unloading, a very negative point: showers very dirty, no hot water!
Nice pity that there are no signs with explanations and no birds
Beautiful location. The little train ride is very interesting. Worth it. The look of the settling ponds, the pink flamingos and the salt mountains is impressive.
Tour that makes up for the almost bland and uninviting city of Aigues Mortes.
The places are sublime but the prices charged are too high: 20 for free access by bike.
We were a group of 6, and 5 bikes burst). We had to call the emergency number several times before someone answered us; to learn that they would not take any action to help us (I remind you, 20 entry). On arrival we needed tools to fix our bikes, they also didn't want to help us on the pretext that they didn't have any (they rent bikes for customers so they should have tools...). In addition, the line to buy tickets is endless; service too slow. Cannot buy tickets online or at an automatic terminal.
Great activity, visit in a small train, superb landscape with pretty new colors
8.5 euros to walk an hour and a half on a dirt road in the middle of the salt flats without any explanation, it's 6'50 euros too much
Friendly staff. You can buy salt at the saline shop to discover the salt marshes on a guided tour with the little train.
Simple and free visit, without guide. Very nice site.
Interesting tour to discover the process of making salt on our tables and roads ...
Too bad once boxed this salt is found in the company of additives that we would happily happen ...
Nice visit of just over an hour. Lots of explanations, but you can't always hear well. Relatively affordable price. Interesting for children, especially the visit to the top of a salt mountain!
Nice little train. Lack of flamingos! Very nice guide (Max). Good explanations.
Very nice experience about the production of the well-known salt. The red water before the blue is a great natural spectacle in summer. Nice excursion destination for less hot days or the morning.
Duration: approx. 30 min.
I think the entrance fee of 11.60 is a bit steep. Unfortunately, the tour is only offered in French. There is a half point deduction for each of these two points. Suitable for children aged 6 and over.
Unfortunately, a sufficient safety distance is not observed during the corona crisis. But there is at least a Maslen requirement.
Visit by train very nice with two stops one to climb on a hill of salt and the other to visit the salt museum and its shop. Fun for kids and interesting for everyone.
I loved this great ride well explained despite the strong wind, great I advise you
