Worst insurance agent ever - AMBER HYDE. I was assigned AMBER HYDE from this company to assist me with the Maryland State Exchange and it was like pulling teeth. The person would promise to call and would never return calls or emails. If you get assigned to the company to the exchange I would run, not walk, and find another agent. I am currently paying 100% of a surgery, drugs, EVERYTHING and this "agent" cannot be found to help at all. Terrible customer service - AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
This company makes it fairly difficult to utilize their services. If you're willing to jump through hoops every time you go to the doctors, and want your employees to do the same, it does technically work. I'm sure this is good for their bottom line upfront, but overtime, being difficult to deal with will lose you customers.

Group Benefit Services, Inc. is an excellent TPA handling employee benefits administration. I highly recommend their services. They are a "one stop shop" when dealing with all the different benefit plans and the carriers.
Zero stars if it were available! KEEP ALL YOUR RECORDS! If your experience with this company is like mine, you will need to do their job for them on a regular basis.
This was by far the best place I ever worked! The people were friendly, professional, worked with you. Had I not became ill I never would have left! HR is wonderful! I just loved everyone there and the pay is decent too!
The customer experience with GBS is horrific. The amount of time that I've wasted on a relatively small denied claim with this company is extraordinary. When you call them on the phone, you get the run-around and seemingly contradictory or conflicting information. Frequently, it seems as though the person who answers is simply looking to get you off the phone as quickly as possible. If it were possible to give negative stars, I would do so. Based upon my experience, the rating that they have garnered on Google is thoroughly deserved.
One star rating is too high for GBS. Services were below average, when they found out I was dealing with a new broker, they dropped us like a hot potato.
