People could fuss over little details, but this place is fun and has a lot of art to explore in both the indoor and beautiful outdoor setting. Based on the reactions I saw from kids who were there, it appears to be fun for all ages. Don't make the mistake we made though. We ran late getting there. Make a day of it, you'll probably still have to come back to see more. As you'll notice from the unique bird calls, the grounds are also full of relatively tame peacocks! Go and enjoy! Make a day of it, bring a camera or have a fully charged cell phone with room for pics. Sharing what I have, but again, realize that we only gave ourselves about an hour and a half unfortunately, so we focused on walking the grounds outside. Even limiting to that, we know that that there's a ton that we missed.

A must visit place, even in the pandemic. Some sculptures need the mood to better appreciate them. I had fun too looking at the peacocks and the big fish. Come when it is about to grow dark, so many of the sculptures look very interesting and more appealing with the play of lights.

Fantastic! Amazing! Large! This place has been on my to do list for awhile! You get discounted admission for Sunday after 5pm, so I went. It was just awesome. Once is not enough to see it all. So, I bought a year s membership. Going back often!

This place is like a playground for your eyes!

The sculptures are eye-opening and every sculpture is beautiful. I 100% recommend going there, and there s a Van Gogh cafe that looks like a place in artwork. I loved every part of the Grounds, and I would recommend going with family.

You have to make an online reservation to go!

Make sure to take a ton of pictures, and watch out for the sculptures that look like mannequins because you might be frightened on how real they look!

We spent an outstanding day walking around the Grounds for Sculpture. It was one piece of art after another. It has to be seen. I will definitely return. It was just great and I really don t know what else to say about it. Try Rats Restaurant while you are there.

It was fabulous. Thank you so much and you have a gentleman working there that is 85 years old was originally from Scotland. What a fabulous man to talk to you are so lucky to have him. Please tell him it's Dan from Delaware we spoke for about a half hour and shook hands. He is an asset to your beautiful place.

Hello everyone. I want to say that this is a wonderful, very inspiring place. Amazing energy. I highly recommend it. The only thing that made me very upset was a very dirty toilet on the territory of the park (((

Experience: 5/5 - Really an awesome place! The grounds are extremely well kept and the art and scenery are really a sight to see. Whether you want to go on a leisurely walk, go on a fantastic date, or book a wedding here, this is the place to do something outside.
X-Factor: The price! Especially for students who are on a budget, go check this place out for only $10.

This was a very nice experience for my whole family, even my kids enjoyed it. The grounds and art are beautiful and meticulously kept. My wife and I were concerned the kids would be bored, but they enjoyed it as well. The prices are very reasonable. Expect to be there for at least a couple of hours if you take your time. It makes for a nice day trip.

Grounds for sculpture is a fantastic park. Even if you aren't a big "art lover" I'm sure you will find something that delights you. There are events and workshops held there as well. Plenty of seating around. Bring a picnic or pick up something to eat there.

Grounds for Sculpture is a favorite destination for both us and our guests. We have invited numerous people who have enjoyed the grounds, which by themselves are quite pretty, and also for the artwork which is thought provoking, whimsical, humerous and inspiring. The changes of season add a dimension that brings us back time and again. New exhibits add to the pleasure. A wonderful way to spend a day.

An absolutely amazing place! I don't use the word "amazing" very often, but that is a perfect word to describe Grounds for Sculpture. You must go there to experience it, because there is absolutely too much to describe in this review. Just go, allow yourself plenty of time by going there fairly early in the day this spring or summer, and enjoy exploring all over this incredible park. You will immediately be taken in by everything the sculptures of all sizes, and other creations everywhere, that you see. Walk slowly - take your time - and keep your eyes wide open and look all around you, above you, and below you as well, as you walk around. You'll understand what this means when you are actually doing it! Have a wonderful time there.

It is a calming, beautiful garden that has many wonderful peices of artwork that just stun you. The lake is an amazing feature nearby and there are so many sculptures to see. I really loved the human statues that showed clips of peoples life. If you are in the area, try and visit on a sunny day, as the grass does get quite marshy.

Beautiful. Only complaint i would have is the price for 1 visit. Costs too much, but the garden is kept spectacullarly! Grass is beautiful, you get the oppronity to go anywhere through the park. I went with my parents and we all had a great time here. Great place to bring kids, they will have a lot of fun. You cannot bring dogs, which is dissapointing but, it is undersrandable. Since it would cause the trails and grass to be covered in poop. Which wouldnt be pleasent.

Spectacular parklike setting with amazing modern sculptures tucked into a lovely landscape. A lot of variety in the pieces. There is a whimsical collection of Seward Johnson's lifelike sculptures, many of which are 3 dimensional copies of famous paintings - especially impressionist works - scattered through the grounds. Well worth a visit. Light dining options as well as Rat's Restaurant which is highly rated for meals.

We had a wonderful time at the Grounds for Sculpture on Sunday June 30th. Unfortunately one of our party members stepped into a groundhog hole on a path and fell to the ground. Fortunately she didn t snap her femur in the fall. When we reported the situation to a young man at the ticket counter, he replied that there was little they could do about groundhog holes. I told the employee that the person who fell could have been seriously injured. His reply then was he d leave a message for maintenance to address it Monday morning. This while there were many people in the area with th potential to fall into the hole. He then walked towards the office door and I told him in a forceful manner that he needed to tell his manager of the situation. He turn with a condescending smirk and told me he would. I m sure the insurance carrier for the facility would frown on this type of response to a safety concern for a visitor or employee.

I was able to purchase tickets on their website for only $10 each. It was about 60 degrees on the day we went so it was perfect to explore. There are beautiful, massive sculptures spaced nicely apart on the grounds with plenty of room for people to really enjoy all of them without overcrowding. My daughter really enjoyed the sculptures in the nooks and crannies as well as the huge pieces that can be seen from the road entering the grounds. I look forward to going back in the spring and summer and maybe try the restaurant or have a picnic. There is also an indoor portion which houses a gift shop and museum with local art and more sculptures. The small cafe is also good, with light fare. This is definitely worth a visit if you are in the Hamilton area. Oh and there are peacocks that roam the grounds freely !

Had a great time exploring the grounds and seeing artist work to create beautiful ice sculptures. The peacocks roaming around were fun to look at and ever once and a while they would show off. Also the metal pouring was fun to watch. I enjoyed learning more about how they pour different metals and much more

The grounds are well kept and the sculptures were nice! I also really enjoyed one of their inside exhibits that experimented with both material and digital art. The attendant in the room was super helpful in guiding me through the exhibit as well as providing insightful information. I didn t get a chance to try any of the food but they did have a few options to choose from! Adult price tickets are a little on the pricey side but not unreasonable...I definitely think it s worth the money. :)

Beautiful place! There s $18 entry fees so go there for a full day. For us, the kids nap in the afternoon, so it was half day for us. The peacocks are so beautiful, just wished people wouldn t get too close to them to take selfies , and respected them and their beauty from afar.

I love this place! Try something new and explore this place. I've been here 2 times: once last fall and this summer. Both times I had a different experience. The staff is very friendly. The sculptures are so vibrant and grande. I walked all the paths, touched the sculptures (it's allowed) and took lots of photos of course. I highly recommend Grounds for Sculpture!

This place is phenomenal. Great atmosphere in every aspect. The 42 acres offers many different environments from heavily wooded forest to open fields. The sculptures are placed throughout the park in hidden corners, out in the open, and sometimes so huge that you need to take a step back to get the full picture. Brilliant idea! My favorite sculpture was hanging off one of the buildings as if it were scaling the wall. The park was enjoyed by my wife and I. We will be returning for Afterglow!

UPDATE: Cant wait for next years Afterglow! I had such a great time!

Amazing sculpture garden with a unique range of art. Beautiful gardens, would love to revisit during the spring/summer. If viewing the entire gardens in a single visit, allow yourself several hours to fully take in the experience.

The highlight for me was the gorgeous peacock who resides here. Other than the fact that it is a nice outdoor park, I would some it up as glad I finally got to see it. However it's not worthy of the amazing reviews in my opinion.
