Grosvenor House Dubai Reviews

We got a really good deal on this hotel last year and it was a really nice hotel! More catered for business professionals rather then families though and the pool is very small and shaded for part of the day but we got to use the beach and pool facilities at Le Royal Meridian which was really nice also. The afternoon tea had by far the best selection of food available and the restaurants in particular Buddha Bar were amazing!

Gorgeous breakfast, amazing view from the window, high level of service, this all characterizes Grosvenor Tower 1.

Everything is nice in this apartments. Somewhere old chairs but it's ok

We stayed for 3 nights at Grosvenor House. While not a bad hotel, it was certainly not up to the raving 5* reviews on Trip Advisor. I had booked a deluxe room in Tower 2 plus a suite upgrade through my SPG Platinum 75 membership, we ended up being "upgraded to an even better room" in Tower 1, which is a rather lame explanation. We got the room we had booked, but in the other tower, overlooking the highway.
The suite is nice, clean and and spacious with a kitchenette and a fridge, but decoration has no particular cachet.
I visited the pool area of tower 1, it is strangely located on the north side, which means that the sun arcs behind the tower. The zone on the east side is crowded, and the zone on the right side is noisy because of the AC outlets underneath. The pool itself is a puddle for kids. The pool area also gives a close view on a building that already starts to look dated from the outside.
We had breakfasts at the Level 5 executive lounge in Tower 2. Buffet is ok, nothing to write home about, tables are cramped but the area, though busy, seems quieter than the tower 1 buffet.
GH is a short shuttle ride away from the Westin beach resort, a high volume resort on the beach which is very, very busy. Armchairs with crimson brits as far as the eye can see.
Staff is very polite and well trained.
Location is good if you like to stroll or jog, the marina area provides a long walk way, a small mall and a growing offering of various restaurants.
Bottom line: there is nothing really bad about Grosvenor House, but nothing anywhere as good as reviews may lead you to believe.

Amazing place to stay. Great location and the staff was very friendly and helpful . We were on our honeymoon and the hotel staff surprised us by sending a cake , bottle of wine and floors to our room . Would highly recommend this place to everyone whoever is visiting dubai .

Clean hotel really good food in restaurants and room service. Rooms r a bet old compared to other hotel rooms in dubai. Also going in and out of the area is a bet problematic and gets congested.

I don't usually write reviews but I had a very bad experiance at this Hotel. I can honestly say it's the worst 5-Star hotel experiance I've ever had.

A very elegant, beautiful hotel with many restaurants. But far from the real beach, to get there you have to take the hotel bus that will take you to the Meridien Royal hotel, where you will have access to the beach, I would say for a family who has children who are a little uncomfortable. I would say ok for couples, for families better "Meridien Royal".

I have been lucky enough to stay at Grovesnor House twice now, can't recommend this hotel enough it really is pure luxury! The staff are so lovely and can't do enough to help. 5*.

Dated hotel rooms in need of some TLC. They do have some of the best restaurants in town.

Everything from the time you walk in the front doors is remarkable about this place! The foyer, floral arrangements, friendly staff and beautiful views. We arrived early and as our room was not ready they seated us to enjoy coffee and morning tea as a courtesy. The view from our room was terrific and the room was well sound proofed. Service from the staff for our duration was impeccable. Will definitely recommend this establishment to friends visiting the area. Thanks for a great experience.

King style hospitality experience in heart place of the kingdom....

One of the favourites in Dubai: so much choice and a fantastic service day or night. Restaurants are abundant, from Buddah Bar to Torro Torro, there's something for everyone. Great views, fantastic terrace at Siddhartha. Always a great visit.

For seekers of apartments respected and clean and spacious in Dubai .... Beautiful and close to the GPR .... Lack of traffic congestion sometimes with cars and you need to wait a long time to get your car ....

This is my worldwide favourite city Hotel. Opened around 2006 and is piece by piece under renovation, what makes it a bit tricky at the moment. Huge rooms, kitchenette, bars and restaurants. Pool and fitness center are outstanding. Super elegant and stylish. Famous Buddah Bar in the building. Easy to park and get around by car .....

Buggy on call will bring you to the Le Meridien at the beach. All free for use and even a bigger pool and a huge beach.....

Very fine dining place, atmosphere and staff are very friendly

I just spent a few days there again but as a family I took a suite with two small rooms including the price is worth the detour and besides you are direct on the marina to walk with the kids. For the bachelor the Buddha Bar is at the peid of the hotel :).

Big, spacey apartment hotel shared easily with 6 people. Plenty of bathrooms.

Superb overall! Stayed several weeks in total in that hotel, and in both towers... Very spacious rooms, well equipped, great staff friendly and helpful and attentive to your needs. Superb restaurants around ( Buddah bar, Toro Toro..). Breakfast buffet to die for!. Highly recommended.

Fantastic hotel. Lovely ambience and welcoming aura. Top notch service. Access to Le Royale Meridien and its beautiful gardens, private beach, restaurants etc. further enhances the value of a stay at the Grosvenor House Dubai. And I must mention the lovely Indian food at Indego by Vineet. Definitely a 'must come back' place.

You have a variety of food options to suit anyone's taste each one presented to a very high standard there is also an all day and night free shuttle service over to there sister hotel Le Royal Meridian where you can also dine and charge to your room in Grosvenor depending on your board basis and gives you full beach & pool access .

Had a wonderful stay here few years back. Finally leaving a review because it was a memorable stay, between the chic rooms and deco, as well as the luxurious atmosphere. I also really enjoyed tea on the balcony overlooking the city and the rooftop bar

Very nice rooms, spacious and luxurious everywhere the service is high and I highly recommend it. I enjoyed it close to jbr but you need a taxi that has a tough fitting walk for it.

Buddha Bar and Siddhartha are a sublime experience. The ambience, the food and above all service is exceptional

Excellent hotel if rather large, next to Dubai marina
