Grill 225 Review

Great food, we shared crab cakes and a filet. We had escargot for the appetizer. Our sides were mashed sweet potatoes, grilled tomatoes and peach cobbler for dessert.

VERY FRUSTRATED. I have left 4 messages for the Food & Beverage Manager and the Group & Luxury Manager spanning the last 6 weeks weeks and nobody will call me back. Is this the typical high end experience you offer your prospective guests?

Was so great to be back in the Grill last week for dinner. As a local it is by far my favorite steak house in town, and has been since my first time there about 10 years ago. Love the consistent 5 star service, and food. The ambiance is a magnificent bonus also. If you want the best steak, and the BEST customer service in Charleston...Go to Grill 225!

The 3 pound broiled Maine Lobster was absolutely amazing. Steaks are cooked to perfection. Grill 225 is one of my favorite places in The city.

Grill 225 is amazing. We were celebrating a friend's new job and were seated in the front corner table. We had a wonderful server and every dish was delicious. We had not been to Grill 225 in a long time and had forgotten how good it was. Excellent!

Best birthday dinner ever. Thank you to our wait staff, John for making it special. Food and atmosphere was the best. You have to try a nitrogen martini!

One of the most romantic dinners my husband and I have had! Delicious flavorful steak, sides, and shrimp and grits! The Nitrotini s were to die for; the atmosphere was so relaxing and we were in no hurry to leave!

Pretty shocking dining experience here. Waiter JB was completely unprofessional. We were sat 30 minutes late on a 9pm reservation. It was fine as we were having a martini in the lounge. Upon being seated we were ready to get settled in and have the nice, pleasant, satisfying dining experience that you would expect from an upscale southern steakhouse. Unfortunately it did not deliver. Our waiter informed us before we were even able to look at the menu that they were closing soon and that we needed to order immediately. I literally thought he was kidding. He came back around 2 minutes later and we ordered calamari and he demanded we order our entrees. Turns out he wasn t kidding. I d expect that from a college kid that s working at a burger joint and doesn t want to stay late because he has video games to play and weed to smoke.

We were shocked and offended. Literally trying to shove us out the door at 9:30 on a Saturday night. We ate a few bites of our calamari and left. First time I ve ever left a 0 in the tip. Not going to do business with a bush league steak house. Completely disappointed in the staff and management for ruining what was supposed to be a nice evening. Do yourself a favor and just go to halls or oak. This place is a joke.
