We recently had a vintage love seat recovered at Gregg's. It looked fantastic but through some miscommunication it was missed that the seat needed some extra padding and it was pretty uncomfortable. We brought it back in and with no hassle at all the issue was corrected (springs re-tied and some extra foam put in). We're so pleased with it. Very happy with the responsiveness of David and his team.
Quality of the work is excellent. Unfortunately the work done required and adjustment. Customer service during the adjustment period was so horrible that David could not help fix the cushion and we had to take our piece somewhere else to get refinished. Highly recommend McGeachie's down the road. Friendly, inexpensive, quick.
We had our dining room chairs reupholstered. The cost of replacement is so high on solid dining room furniture. We found Gregg's and went about choosing fabric. Their assistance was valuable in choosing the right fabric to meet our cleaning needs and durability requirements.
We got the chairs back this week and they are so beautiful. The pattern was matched perfectly on all 6 chairs. They also refinished the arms on the 2 armchairs (30+ years of wear). We are so happy with the results.
Communications with David Screech - especially considering COVID - were timely and excellent.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a company who advertizes good customer service. There was absolutely no focus on customer service. They failed to meet the time frame that was quoted to me and when I complained Mr Screech became rude, disrespectful and condescending. When I cancelled my order because the job had not even begun after sitting with them for six weeks they refused to return my deposit money. At one point Mr. Screech even refused to return my sofa. When they finally did return it, it was filthy. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Buyer beware. Get everything in writing.

Gregg's repaired and reupholstered an antique chair for us. The finished product exceeded our expectations for both the quality of the repair and upholstery. They are busy so don't be in a hurry. But they delivered in the timeframe stated upfront. They also have an expansive selection of fabrics to choose from.
I can t say enough good things about Greggs Furniture. The service was excellent and the workmanship was also excellent. We have dealt with Gregg s many times over the last 30 years. David and his team have always come through for us.
We have been very happy with the work done by Gregg's about a year ago. After the initial salesperson retired, we continued working with David. He is very knowledgeable and was helpful in the design and construction. We had 2 custom leather swivel chairs built and a custom couch built. All look great. Costs were competitive, delivery in line with other orders from other shops we talked to and given we had very specific ideas around design, fabric etc, we thought custom built by Gregg's was the right option. The couch cushions were a bit high (our design) and Gregg's reshaped them to work. The stuffing in the leather chairs were replaced to make them a bit softer. No questions asked, no complaints. Yes - construction took a bit longer but we were part of the problem given the need to confirm designs, fabric etc and our availability. Yes - David's manner may be a bit brusque for some but I was looking for furniture - not a friend. And as I said he was helpful in the design, never mislead us on time lines and stood behind the product. We would have no hesitation in recommending or buying again from Gregg's.
We are very pleased with the professionalism & workmanship of Gregg s Furniture & Upholtery. They were very helpful, answered our questions and made us feel comfortable with the process. They re-upholstered 2 loveseats, an ottoman, a deacon bench cushion and 4 pillows. We love the finished product & highly recommend.
We had some furniture recovered just recently by Gregg's and could not have been more happy with the result. The staff were excellent and went out of their way to take care of us and the workmanship was second to none. We will definitely be back.

I had an old clam back chair and ottoman reupholstered by Gregg's Furniture and was so happy with the outcome. They were able to retain the design of the chair for me which was my main reason for going with them. The fabric was beautiful, so rich looking.

Greggs have just reupholstered my recliner and built a matching chair for me. The workmanship is excellent and I would highly recommend Greggs for both custom made furniture and reupholstering.
We had two love seats reupholstered by Greggs, and I will never do business with them again.
Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful, but one person's loud, abrasive, arrogant attitude made us literally run for the exit, twice....the second time we had to go in to view the completed couches and pay the balance owing.
While I certainly understand the challenges of meeting deadlines, I do not understand this display of anger and indignation directed towards us for simply stating "well, I'm disappointed".

I happened to be in Gregg's Furniture when Ms Dzedora came into the store. Mr Screech knew this and asked if I would consider posting my account of what I saw. It would be fair to say that the lady below was incredibly demanding and discourteous. She had no patience and would not even let Mr Screech finish a sentence without interrupting. Yes, Mr Screech did get angry but no reasonable person could blame him. He tried to explain that he could not just refund her deposit but she could buy the fabric and walk away if she chose. I thought this was reasonable. She stormed out of the store ......it was all quite something to behold. Our experience with Gregg's was wonderful. The quality of the workmanship and the service were excellent. They are a longstanding and respected Victoria company and I would highly recommend them.

Worst experience - did nothing to our couch and chair and charged a fortune. Had our furniture for weeks and put a cheap stuffing in seat and nothing in the back. The guys picked up the furniture made a mess of our walls! Would never recommend this company!
We had a chair, sofa and ottoman recovered and new cushions inserted. The sofa was a 2 pillow seat and back, which they converted to 3 seats and back. Everything had trim of metal tacks around the front of the arms and edging around all. What a perfect job, it looks wonderful, very pleased..
