I went there today, I got an strong feeling that this place is for certain type of income and groups, I didn't feel it was an equal housing opportunity. My emergency doesn't constitute an emergency for them, however when your disable with disable children and can prove it, that should over ride the others on / in line.

Staff was very nice. I went there to get help to find a place because I'm on fixed income I'm not getting enough money for income based housing I thought they could help they can't just gave me places I already had and sent me on my way

The GHC is an organization that does amazing work in Guilford County helping all kinds of people and families with housing issues. They are an example that other communities across the country should strive to be like.
I just had the most awful experience with the supervisor, I need help explained my situation and my referral was not written right ,so when I took it 5o the apartment complex they refused to help me because I'm not homeless enough because 2 nights a week I shower and sleep on a friends couch , I asked what can I do for her to please help me and she refused told me there was Nothing she ,not could do but NOTHING SHE WOULD DO ! And I could do what ever I want ,I have a job , work hard ,just need help finding an apartment
