Wasn't too thrilled about the area around (not much to do) but the coliseum itself was great! The 360 stage was awesome for NYE.
It's the GREENSBORO COLISEUM, it's ALWAYS been GREAT!!
Nasty floors, crowded seating, take your bottle cap so you spill your drink everywhere. If I go back again I will remember to bring an extra bottle cap with me.
Backstage passes with SWV and BBD in concert greatest birthday ever
Love this place. Big city entertainment in a smaller city.
Only got 4 stars cause I liked who I seen in concert.
A lot of people complain about our coliseum, but I like it. Now, one could argue management does not get big names that they are large enough to get, but the facility is decent for its age.
Whent to as Mercy Me there show was good parking was terrible
Finding the bathrooms and vending machines weren't easy.
The disabled and the handicap had no seating. Some of the staff were rude and very impolite.Elderly people were forced to stand or go back home.It was very unorganized. You might need to make it know that you have gotten as strict as the airport. It was not a pleasant place to have an event. The walk was horrible and no-one seem to know who was in charge or what was going on.From now on please inform the public that pocketbooks, backpacks, pepper spray, or anything beside car keys and cellphones are only allowed. How hard is that to do.Don't worry they said they will wait.ASKING 4 A FRIEND......
Had a great time at the Pavillion. The space is designed so the no seat even on the lawn is a bad seat.
I have never been more unhappy with a venue. My friend, boyfriend, and me arrived for the Tyler, The Creator concert around 11:30. The staff numbered us and we were 34,35, and 36. After waiting hours, they started lining the first 100 up in their number order around 4. When the doors opened at 5:30 the people behind the first 100 rushed in front of the line. There were two sets of double doors, but only one side of one set was open. As my boyfriend and I were being rushed he tripped over a barricade that was on the right side of the door. I was shoved into in and my right ankle got stuck in it. As this happened my head was slammed against the door, while my left leg was wrapped around the other side of the door. People were running by my leg and falling on top of me. I began to cry and scream hysterically for help. After finally finding a way to get up somehow we rushed through the metal detector and waited with the other hundreds of people, slammed against the gate door (the gate opened up like a garage door). When the gate opened people sprinted and pushed each other as expected. I was pushed down, hit my head again, and people began to pile and stomp on top of me. My entire body was covered and being trampled over. During this, I was also screaming and crying hysterically for help. Being only 5 feet tall and 120 pounds it is very easy for people to trample right through me. My boyfriend and 2 other kind men attending the concert were able to get people off me and drag me out from the cluster of people on top of me. I was finally able to run and get a spot on the floor. I am very thankful for the people that helped me, but where was the security? The security outside went inside when the doors open, which was a very crucial time for security. When I screamed for help, no one was there. The security should of been able to help me and the other people struggling to even stand up. The security needed to be better and it was necessary for them to be more strict during this event. I am very thankful to not be seriously injured, but it was very possible that I could of been. I have been to 5 concerts, and none of them have been this hectic. I am aware that insane fans do exist, but it should not have been this disorganized. Greensboro Coliseum Complex should of been more prepared, and lacked a decent security system.
The most unorganized venue I have ever been to. Parking is horrible. A 100% crap show.
Came here for my prom. Can't completely say whether it was the venue or the people who laid it out but the dance floor was placed a little awkwardly in my opinion. Regardless, a really pretty room with high ceilings! Hard to complain
I really enjoy the basketball, football games and concerts. The national swim meets that come to town. The warm welcome we get from employee.
Great place to hang out when you have nothing to do catch a swarms game
I got a chance to attend graduation ceremony of my cousin at Greenboro Coliseum. It was snow at that day. They have big parking lot but it was over crowded, they are trying to manage as better as they can. Thousands of people were attended ceremony. It was great experience.
Great venue. Parking can be a little congested. Usually don't buy drinks or snacks just because of the prices. Always a great event. Not a bad seat in the house.
Not enough entry ticket takers, plan to stand in line to get into concerts
$20 to park with NO SECURITY. And the parking spots are for compact cars. There was NO SECURITY inside the venue, either. I saw Rush here, in May, and someone could have easily done something very bad on account of NO SECURITY.
Graduation was amazing. Plenty of room. Nice and clean
Parking is a bit crazy.
I was there for my brothers graduation and the people checking your bags were rude af
Went for Monster Jam and it was a ton of fun. My little one loved it.
They have the worst customer service ! Buy your tickets Monday to Friday ! I suggest to call the venue manager and let them know the supervisor on the ticket office is horrendous as a worker !
It's a pretty nice arena. Have seen a couple different events. I always park on spring garden and walk over to avoid paying to park. It's not a very long walk and I wouldn't recommend walking over alone but if you are looking to avoid parking fees, that's a good option. Also, I like to sit on the second level. I don't think you lose much in distance but you pick up the total picture a lot more.
They needed a few more chairs, but it was wonderful.
Great Complex, well laid out and close to hotels restaurants and the mall
Had a WONDERFUL time! Seating was nice plenty of snacks to find also!
Not too bad, but the seat rows are close even my friend who is 5'2" was tight... get there early because everyone has to go through the security check and the lines were huge... Loved the Skating Nationals!
I had an anxiety attack and I have never been treated as wonderfully as they treated me! Everything was exceptional and everyone there was so considerate. The concert was over the top!! Because of the fantastic staff and the blessings received from Elevation, Hillsong, and Casting Crowns, I had a marvelous time!! Thanks to everyone there!!
AAU Nationals for various age levels...lots of history!
Disney on ice was great. My suit was clean .my seats were great
Small enough that there aren't really any bad seats.
Beers and drinks expensive easy to get in out , enjoy the event
We went to Marvel Live. Everyone was very courteous and professional. The facility was clean.
It was clean, we went for a Greensboro Swarms basketball game.
We were in an annex of some sort for a high school graduation. Terrible seats. Small and cramped and not completely bolted down. Thankfully I don't have to go back for five years, but when I do, I am sure we'll be sitting in the same wobbly, cramped seats. Pretty disappointing.
Nice venue that has come a long way over the past decade with it's extensive renovations. Parking can be a nightmare and that's pretty much the only downside to this amazing place.
We enjoyed the 7th grade basketball tournament. Great venue. Need to improve the ticket sale process (very long lines).
One of the food trucks was not that great. Food was not being fully cooked.
Grounds staff was annoying regarding where and how to sit.
It is spectacular for these events, the concerts get great. It is very large as is the parking lot, but the parking costs obviously. You just have to go with time and patience because sometimes the wait is long to enter for so many people. Like to leave, because in the parking lot it gets really bad sometimes. The meals and drinks inside very tasty but very expensive. In the same way you enjoy!
Parking needs just a little improvement but other than that it's a great spot.
Great barn. Always been a great place to see a concert. They need a hockey team, bad!
Not a bad place for a G-League game. Small and personal feeling.
Went here to see the Trans Siberian Orchestra and paid for seats that were on the second level in front of the show. Our seats were changed because of lighting changed for the event and were put off to the side almost behind the stage. We had to argue for almost 25 mins just to get better seating and we finally did. Thank God the show made up for the aggravation when we first arrived.
Good entertainment venue, expensive food. Parking is adequate but usually costs a fee. Good variety and quality of shows and sports events.
No to big not to small, just lot of walking and expensive to park.
This place has plenty of parking! They always hold awesome events and doing a good job of running a tight ship. They are even good about allowing customers to come hours early for tail gating and keep the site clean even after back to back concerts.
Great venue for a concert and concession prices weren't outrageous. Not a bad seat in the house.
Loved it. Was there to support my Niece, for receiving her doctrine
We go to the Holiday Market here and it's always very nice.
