Great place for either a sporting event or a business conference. A very versatile location that has much to offer. The complex is a modern and clean area and can support a variety of events. With many conference rooms it works well with any business, large or small for any size gathering. Moreover if you're looking to go to a Greensboro Swarm game there, it offers a fun, family friendly environment suitable for kids of all ages. For someone who came from out of town for both business and to see a game, the Greensboro Coliseum Complex truly worked well with all events, even with multiple other events occurring on the complex at the same time. Overall, it was a fun, exciting, modern and family friendly complex, suitable for any business or family.

I have been to a couple of concerts here and Greensboro has a great system for keeping traffic moving and the coliseum staff were very patient and remained friendly right up to the end. This is the best place to see a concert and Kiss rocked the house!

I work events and Gboro is always a fun venue. I just got to meet Scott Hamilton and Paul Wylie figure skating legends and The up and coming Sean Rabbit. The pics I've posted are from Disney on Ice, Monster Jam and Us Figure Skating.

Not what i would call a great venue. Stage pushed back against a U shape, with most of the patrons as far away as possible. the legroom is nil, so be prepared for that.

Parking? $20, pretty steep, and monopolized. tons of spots, no reason for that sort of pricing.

everything there seemed to run late. gates opened 30 minutes late. the people that were blocking seating areas stayed for about 10 minutes after everyone else was being let in.

Bathrooms are sparing, and Food/Drink prices were obscene (although i do understand that's where they make their money for the venue). If you go and do want a drink. don't stop at the first stand, go for the refill option further down. If you buy a drink (bottled, $4 for a soda) they'll take your cap, so not only are you a spill hazard, but your drink goes flat during the show. (Great!)

The part i thought was even better than the concert (that i couldn't see due to the 100+meters away from the stage) was watching people try to walk up the stairs. Very, very steep, and if you're on the second tier, you can watch people face their fear of heights as they turn around looking for their seat. or tall people trying to fit in the miniature sized leg room area.

I wish they would have utilized more of the arena as stage. that would have made the show 10x better.

I'll keep saying this.... If you are hosting a kids athletic event, offer something healthy to eat. We are encouraging our kids to be healthy. But you serve to the greasy denomination... Just offer something healthy. You may be surprised at the demand/profit.

I am all for safety and security checks, considering the crazy times we are in. I will even go as far to agree that no outside food or drink should be allowed. Unopened water bottles, somewhat questionable but still...I get it. The issue is charging $4.00 for a bottle of water to replace the exact same thing you made me throw away in order to come in the arena. On principle, that does not make much sense.

We recently attended a high school graduation ceremony at the GSO Coliseum Field House. It was very difficult to hear the speakers in the beginning because people were still coming in over 30 mins late. This was very distracting as it was very noisy coming in through metal detectors and searches. Also, the female bathroom was flooded, water covered the floor everywhere, wet toilets, and low toilet paper supplies...it was disgusting. Reserved seating for handicapped people was horrible. The floor chairs were smaller seats than the stadium chairs. The rows were too close together, and not enough room for all the wheel chairs, especially for those in scooters. In some places at the end of the rows, the wheel chairs had to be staggered to fit them in, but still blocked the entire row if anyone needed to come out of the inner seats. I felt this was a real safety hazard, especially if there had been an emergency exit required.

Great time and a good experience. I'm giving them 4 stars because the beer is ridiculously priced. I paid $17 for 2 beers in plastic cups which is ridiculous. They need to offer $2.50 beers, especially since the promoters are charging astronomical prices for concert tickets. We paid over $400 for two Kiss Tickets and I only paid $15 back in the 90's.

We had a blast. The staff there is always very helpful. I think the arena area is a little small for some of the events they host such as Monster Jam and Motocross but they make it work. I've enjoyed going there for concerts as well.

Acoustics were ok. Paul Simon was excellent. Finding the correct exit for where ( section G) we parked was a nightmare. Parking signage at exits would help.

$ 20.00 parking fee on top of ticket fees is an obscenity !
