Misinformation shows inexperience

Misinformation on matters that are incorrect shows inexperience and devoid of basic understanding on how their private investment firm operates or funds works. Our family office investments alongside Greenhills Venture on select companies which they lead. They approve a budget for completing due diligence, check IP, corporate entity, prepare legal documents to close the investment which in many cases is more than $35K which is approved and if we are investing support this cost on a pro rata. If we don’t make an investment due to last minute decision from the company or due to Material Adverse Information our expenses are written off !!!.

it is called the "earned fee scam" - ask for references

ask them to show you track record: real PE/VCs are happy to disclose, offer references on their businesses and investment backgrounds. Greenhill biz strategy is called the "earned fee scam". they reach out to a target company. they say that they have a fund & quick process & they charge a fee. they say that they have "investment funds" but they will not disclose anything around the size or composition, or recent deals. they claim that they will complete in weeks and if they do not close they will refund the money. they never return the DD material. they never respond to anything once they have the money. to even compare them to established firms such as sequoia, temasek, or a16z is nonsensical. all these comments below are nothing more than an old psych trick called social comparison theory to allow them to continue what is a very dodgy business practice.

I don’t understand some of the outlandish comments on Greenhills Ventures. As a seasoned investor we like the discipline investment mandate the firm employs during the pre and post investment closing specially the financial monitoring process which we often attend, to ensure their portfolio companies are on milestone track.
We are a third generation Family Office invested alongside GreenHills Ventures several times over the last 7+ years with 2 exits while partnering with them.
Some advice here, do not try to outsmart them by changing your strategy due to a failed POC and not disclosing the information to them in a timely manner, or worse present a new POC relationship which will take 3-6 months to prove and demand the Firm close its investment. They have good institutional and corporate partners which are extremely valuable to partner and once an introduction is made the rest is up to the company to prove it can execute.

GreenHills Ventures actively investing in No Nonsense Companies

GreenHills Ventures actively investing in No Nonsense Companies

Posting untrue and disparaging remarks on individuals or a company by using anonymity on the internet is irresponsible, ethically immoral and legally punishable by law. Our Family Office first joined GreenHills Ventures as a private client about 8.6 years ago. GreenHills Ventures and their GH Funds invested in 2 of my previous companies. They incur significant expenses before making an investment and require companies to disclose Material Adverse Information prior to making their investments. We demand this in all our investments with GreenHills Ventures. Don’t waste their time or ours. Reimbursement for costs including legal due to Material Adverse Information the company does not disclose during diligence is standard best practice. Venture funds are facing scrutiny for not performing proper due diligence on FTX. Investors Who Put more than $2 Billion Into FTX Face Scrutiny - The New York Times (nytimes.com). List include well-known investment firms: NEA, IVP, Iconiq Capital, Third Point Ventures, Tiger Global, Altimeter Capital Management, Lux Capital, Mayfield, Insight Partners, Sequoia Capital, SoftBank, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Ribbit Capital, Temasek Holdings, BlackRock and Thoma Bravo. Two of these firms we allocate our alternative investments and sent them letters questioning their internal diligence process.

Scammers posing as Investors

They are complete frauds. Scammed us in a clearly contrived process. They represent that they have funds to invest; that they have a fund; and that they can invest immediately. They charge for their services by saying that they can invest on your terms and they never close. Their process drags on; they ask companies to do all the heavy lifting; and then they go dark. Clearly a bunch of fraudsters.

Emanuel Martinez is a complete fake. Supposedly has an amazing background and resume – but Linkedin shows 4 connections. Runs a Company called Greenhills Ventures. Dubious background. No way to check or confirm his track record. They solicit companies with promise of financing. They do not have funds to invest and they charge fees.

Emanuel Martinez, Mark Goldenberg and Paris Gyparakis should be ashamed of themselves for misappropriating our company's money to finance their own personal business ventures. Their deceptive scheme has been going on for years.

I read some of the reviews on Greenhills and these posts are not indicative of the firm or my experience with Emanuel Martinez and his team. Greenhills invested in 2 of my companies and brought a couple of strategic partners which licensed our platform increasing our revenues and valuations. I m talking to them about my new venture.

My CFO advised me regarding a post on Greenhills Ventures. We are a multi generational multi family office investing with Grennhills over 9+ yrs invested in 3 companies with 1 heath care tech company acquired by a strategic and are in discussions for licensing agreement with another. Knowing Emanuel and his partners they will not hesitate bailing out if there was serious concern during due diligence. I wouldn't expect anything less.
