Lots of unique dishes here. Everything is fresh and gorgeous!!! We tried sea urchin for the first time here. The food is awesome and it's inexpensive for the quality. Try it! We found it because we got lost and decided to stop in after driving forever. We returned once again because it was AMAZING

This was an okay sushi place not as good as Sake Sushi that is in Waynesville because I really love that place and they're dragon rolls. But I really like this place of waiters and waitresses was very friendly and the atmosphere was really nice the people who made this sushi was very nice they are asked questions if I wanted to know what they were doing and what kind of fish they were fixing and repairing it was just a nice atmosphere and I will probably be back again but no with the guy that I was with because he kept on accusing me of hitting on the waiter which I was not on Mother's Day and he give me one of these shittiest Mother's Day Ever So anyway

I'm so picky. I cook/bake at home. Hate spending money at places that I can fix the same food and taste better. This place is amazing! I only go to 3 places out to eat and this is my number 1 on my list. Oh love the food! My husband gets take out for me instead of chocolate and flowers. You can never go wrong with Green Tea! Yummy!!!

We eat sushi ALL the time and a friend used to work here, so we decided to try it out. It was horrible!!! We were a little weirded out initially because no one else was there eating. Their koi tank built into the floor looked ill kept and had water so shallow that the biggest fish's back was partly out of the water and it could barely swim. The menu seemed overly pricey for the calibur of sushi they offer. Our seaweed salad came with a disgusting, withered marashino cherry on top and tasted old and overly salty/fishy. The Sapporo that we ordered was cool at best. At this point, we were iffy about even staying. We were hungry, though, so we decided to give it the benefit of the doubt. The sushi was just BAD. I worked for years at a very successful Japanese restaurant so I know what's "good" and what isn't. The avocado was brown, the sushi rice was super chewy and tasted like it was a couple days old, the wasabi looked like it had been sitting a while, and the fish was wayy below par. NOTHING tasted fresh whatsoever. Most of what was inside the rolls looked more like some mashed up paste they made out of older stock. The cuts of sashimi on top of the rolls were mushy and not much better. Their smoked salmon tastes like someone poured half a bottle of liquid smoke in it. We were starving and on our way out of town, so we ate what we could and got up to leave. The sushi chef was creeping on us like we were about to dine and ditch and he had to yell for our waitress to come out from somewhere because no one was around to take our money. They did not care at all that we were unhappy with our meal and refused to give any sort of discount, aside from the rotten seaweed salad we sent back early in the meal. The manager did not even bother to come out. When we asked, our server came back and simply stated "He said no." I already feel sick to my stomach. How does this place stay in business? Will NOT be returning. Don't eat sushi here.

Good food but not great. The pork dumplings were an exception. They were some of the best I ever had. Bento box was a large portion. However the sushi was lacking flavor. We tried two different kinds including the one with caviar and were not impressed. They are a bit high in price but all in all I would come back. I would maybe save my visit for a special occasion only. Wait staff was good.

When we first arrived I ordered a shot Of Vodka which came and delivered in a dirty glass. When I ordered my second glass that was supposed to be in a clean glass that was particles in the bottom of my vodka and a half of the shot was not accounted for. Once we receive your appetizer there was a hair at the very bottom of it. I politely pull the manager on duty aside and asked him and told him of my reasoning for why I was so disappointed with my service. We sat there for over 20 minutes without getting any drink refills and I got up for the first time in my life and I walked out without paying my bill and I was so glad to do so do not go to this place I ve been here 20 times worse service I ve ever had.

high quality, friendly service. You can order large amounts of sushi at classically busy times, like a Friday evening, and get served in a surprisingly short time. Their prices are quite reasonable, and their food is high quality. I've eaten a lot of sushi, and this place stacks up. I'm simply amazed at how quickly they put out quality sushi.

Classic and delicious Japanese fare. Lots of good sushi options, hot pots, and hibachi. Plus, considering the caliber of the food, very well priced. Additionally the service and decor are nicely done. If you're in the mood for Japanese, this place does not disappoint

Normally we love this restaurant, but they are severely understaffed! We sat at our table for 25 minutes without even betting acknowledged, nite even for water! Needless to say we left! We were not set on sushi so, we headed straight too Gan Shan Station for perfect service (Thank you Dowell(sp?))!!!

Food is delicious. Sometimes service is less than perfect but still a great place for sushi.

Side note:
Today was the worst experience we've had. We're still waiting on our food and it's been 25+ minutes with many tables around us empty.

Went last night as an early valentines date with my fiancee and per usual the service was excellent. I really wish I had caught my waiters name because i've been coming here for a few years now and last night was the best service I have ever gotten. And as always the food was amazing. I get the fire and ice sushi roll every time I go it's a must have!!

This is the best sushi that I have had in a while! The Asheville Roll and Shrimp Tempura Roll are my favorites from here. They may be a little busy on the weekend but you always have the option of sitting at the bar.

Definitely not what I was expecting. I really love the egg omelet, and it wasn't included at all. Way too much of one kind, and not another. Doubt I will come back.
Photo on menu vs. what I recieved. Lack-luster.
