Open to residents of the Lents, Powellhurst-Gilbert, Pleasant Valley, Foster-Powell, Mt. Scott-Arleta, Brentwood-Darlington and Montavilla neighborhoods for nothing more than proof of residency and a state-issued picture ID, this is one community resource you won't want to miss.

Their excellent selection of tools and books is searchable on their website. The site even tells you if its available, but the hot items can disappear before you get there (I'm looking at you, electric lawnmowers.)

Be sure to tell the librarians if you think the tool need sharpening when you bring it back, or it may go out dull.

AND DON'T FORGET TO VOLUNTEER!

Thank you for the tools! Home owners dont need to own everything! This is the great place to borrow working tools that you only need for a project once in a life time or every weekend. They always need volunteers!

Free tool borrowing for neighborhood residents-- what's not to love? Great for lawn mowers, power washers, or whatever else you need now and can't (or don't want to) shell out hundreds of dollars for.
