Good service. A bit pricey, of course. How many dealership service depts aren't? Updated software (factory recall I was unaware of) but at least warranty took care of that. Rotated tires for $22.00. Most I've ever paid to have that done. Wages must've gone up because cost of oil change went up $5-10 despite the barrel of crude oil remaining low. I do trust Hyundai's mechanics though so overall a good experience.

I bought my car a year ago & this is already the 3rd time in for service. I never receive a call with information until I ve called 3 times minimum. With service like this, think I ll go elsewhere next time.

I am always happy with the service I receive when taking my Santa Fe in for service. The staff is always pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable of my car. I have had 7 Hyundai's since 1993 and love the performance, service and warranty of all my cars.

Will P. is a top notch service associate along with Rodney L. being and amazing service manager! After having some issues with the service I was receiving these two guys jumped into gear to come up with a solution for our problems and a way to handle them effectively to benefit both the company and myself! I bought new rims from a place here in Decatur to have put on and shortly after 8 got a call they didn t give me the right lug nuts and it s missing the centering hubs. I then called the company that I got the rims from and was having issues with them believing I didn t get the parts I needed and the nuts were wrong! So I called Will cause I was at work and didn t have time to be a middle man in the deal! Will went above and beyond his call of duty and reached out to the company (more then once) to get the correct parts! When it was all said and done the company ordered the complete wrong rims! Will calls me and asks me what next! I told him box them up I m taking them back mount the new tires to the factory rims, do the alignment and be done with it! At this point we were both tired of dealing with them and ready to be done with this curse of a situation! When it was one thing after another Will did nothing but give me a happy, helping attitude to help me come up with solutions! Green Hyundai you have some great guys and gals over in that service department! My cars will be serviced there for life! P.S. I live about 15 mins east of Decatur and drive right by Bob Brandy Hyundia Dealership to travel over to Springfield because I ve received nothing but the best service!

Great service center!! Always listens to me about my wife's car...and they always find the correct solution the first time...not over continuous costs and complaints over the same problem over and over again. They explain the entire process in detail so you understand what they are going to, and how much it will cost. Best dealership in Springfield Illinois hands down!!

Inept. Would not recommend. Took my Hyundai Elantra in for three separate emissions repairs and they still couldn't fix it. I paid $1,400 dollars in repairs and my car wouldn't pass an emissions test at a DMV facility. Money down the drain. They charged $100 just to look at my car EACH time I brought it in for the same repair. I got a call from them two weeks after a repair was finished to let me know that a part came in for my vehicle. However, this was a part that was already replaced! Also, I came in once and they didn't even have my repair history on file. Im sorry, but the mechanics here have no idea what they're doing, and like every dealer mechanic shop, they charge you the most for your Hyundai because it's the "official" dealer mechanic shop. Never going back here again. Ever.

My car s had an a/c clog for about two weeks now. A week ago I took my car in to have the clog serviced, not only did they hold my car for a day longer than needed, but they made the problem worse. I tried calling today and none of the service reps answer their phones. Terrible service.

I cannot recommend this dealership too highly. It has excellent staff, who are friendly and knowledgeable. I have bought several cars here over the years. The service department is also very good, and you can drive up almost any day and get a free car wash.

This is my first car and keeping track of maintenance necessary to keep my warranty was really intimidating. Justin was the first to help me and he was excellent. This time it was Brittany and I couldn't be happier. My questions were answered professionally and I felt that I received genuine and honest answers. Brittany even helped me make a few notes in my calendar to plan a budget for future maintenance based on how much I drove last year. 100% satisfied.

Today on a beautiful sunny Sunday I am sitting in a repair shop, not Green Hyundai, getting my front wheel bearing and brakes replaced. I bought and paid for the extend warranty on my 2013 Hyundai Elantra less than a year ago. Car was making a terrible scraping noise and al oud rubbing sound. I paid Green $ 100 to have the car checked and was told it needed new tires. I knew there was something more wrong and called and left messages twice for Mike Quimby...he never called me back! The scariest thing is that my 17 year old daughter drives this car more than I do. The bearing was ready to break and the calipers are ruined. I will NEVER buy from them again or recommend them to anyone.

I bought a lot of cars from them my husband lost everything, his car, his house everything on top of it he developed Stage 5 Kidney Failure & I tried to get him into Helping Hands because of it & he was discriminated against on this basis & we sued them for 75,000 & won & should be getting the money anytime & I went to look @ houses & cars & found a 2004 Mazda 6 & went to the offsite sale @ white Oaks Mall to talk to them about it today & was snubbed because were homeless & have bags what's worse my husband's uncle Homer Matthews used to work for Green Stores as a custodian/cleaner & there going to snub us that's OK I'll go to Landmark Ford where we really will be treated better than they treated us today & I told them this when they snubbed us for wanting to hear what the car sounded like & see inside of the car & when I said this after they snubbed me they said well Landmark Ford has soda get there soda & I said well that's OK I'll just post a review about your business online & tell my city council friends about your hater attitude & they kicked me out.

Originally purchased my car from this dealership in 2018 and hadn t had any major problems until yesterday. I brought my Sonata in for an oil change that also comes with routine inspection. For whatever reason, someone decided to fill all four of my tires up to 45 psi when the tires themselves state not to exceed 40. The worst part is, I didn t notice this until I was about 10 minutes into a 3 hour drive, I had to stop and let air out of each tire. Could have had a blowout on the highway, extremely disappointed with their negligence.

Green Hyundai, gave me exactly what I asked for, and got me into a GREAT car on terms that were perfect for me in February 2013. I feel the salesman Horachio and the finance department worked with me, and I came away VERY satisfied!!!. However, after I bought the car, I could never get anyone to pay attention to my problem. I tried for 7 months to get a second key that I felt should have came with the purchase of the car.. Finally, after several attempts, Ray, manager in the parts department got it done, After several conversations with both me and my husband when I was stranded out of town.. He said I "had road side service, call a tow truck." I was supposed to have a sticker on my car that verified roadside service, and although I told him, I did not, he argued with me. I still do not have the sticker. My parents visited from Lower alabama in July 2013 and they bought a 2013 Sonata. The salesman was GREAT, and as many times as he has asked for it, I still have not have recieved the referral check of $50.00. Neither did my friend get hers after she referred me to them in February. Im not so sure that Green is not just about selling and not about continued customer service. I will trade for a new one in 2014, but Im not sure where yet. I am giving 4 stars, because the salesmen and finance people deserve it, however not all of their managers are responsible for the high scores.

I purchased an Elantra from Green Hyundai a month ago. They were great. Staff friendly and helpful. The internet sales team were awesome. The internet sales manager Jaran is who sold me the Elantra. He was able to give me the car I wanted. I have recommended Green Hyundai to a few people since I bought my Elantra. Great experience!!!

We ve purchased several cars from Green Family Stores. Jaren is an excellent salesman and Mike Quimby has helped us with a couple issues. However, the last couple of times we ve had the 2015 Hyundai serviced, we get unsolicited calls to trade it in. I ve had 3 salespersons contact me in the last few weeks. I find this practice unacceptable. If I m in the market for a car, I go where I ve been treated respectfully. I won t use the service department if it leads to sales calls and I won t shop with those who make unsolicited sales calls.

I have purchased 4 vehicles here, 2 used and 2 new. I have always gotten great service and I love the vehicles. My last purchase was quick and relatively painless, except they do push a hard sell on their warrantee add-ons. If they weren't so insistent on those, this would definitely be 5 stars. Even though there is another Hyundai dealer closer, I return here for my new cars!

Good service my only complaint is that when they give a time estimate of a repair it should be in the ballpark. 3 hours for a 45 minute repair messed up all my plans for the rest of the day.

I had such a good car buying experience at Green Hyundai yesterday! My salesman was Cameron in the Internet Department. From start to finish, Cameron was very personable and made everything fun and relaxed. All I had to do was tell them the payment I could afford a month and they did everything they could to make sure I walked out paying the amount I requested. I have been to several dealerships in the past couple of months and this is the FIRST one that didn't try to come back with counter offers that were way out of my price range. That is saying a lot because I had a unique issue in that I still had a LOT of money I owed on my trade-in. They really do put people first and I will be a repeat customer time and time again due to the family like feel they showed me in the time I was there. Thanks again for all your help Cameron!!!

Never thought buying a car could be so easy When it comes to buying a new vehicle I've always put it right up there with going to the dentist for a root canal....without the novocaine. It normally is an 8-hour ordeal.............. Sorta like joining the Marines.....A real adventure. Well, I was presently surprised in my recent dealings with Green Hyundai last month. My wife and I were "just Looking" when we stopped in at the Green Auto sale at the old Bergner's store. We were greeted in the parking lot by Kurt Lowery and he escorted my wife and me into the makeshift showroom. We told Kurt what we were interested in, and he immediately took us to a 2020 Hyundai Palisade Limited.......It was LOADED. My wife and I took a test drive for about 20 minutes, checking everything out. WOW......WHAT a smooth driving SUV LOADED with every 21st Century electronics and gadgets that you can imagine. While we were taking the test drive Kurt test drove and appraised my wife's trade-in. When we returned from the test drive Kurt was ready with the cost of trading.......The deal was very fair and after a little bickering back and forth I told Kurt to write it up. Soon we were in the business office with Josh Stampf do finish the paperwork. Everything was very organized. Josh explained everything in detail and answered all of our questions. After about 20 minutes we had finished all the paperwork and the proud owners of a beautiful new SUV. Before we left, Brandon Sigler spent a lot of time going through every feature in the SUV. He answered all our questions and pointed out all of the safety and convenience features of the vehicle. Bottom Line: My wife and I couldn't be happier with our new vehicle and the manner in which we were treated by the great crew at Green Hyundai. . No pressure, no hype. Just guys wanting to help us find what we needed and making the deal happen....TWO THUMBS UP.

My fiance and I bought a car at the dealership located by the mall in Springfield. 9 months later engine problems, sunroof is leaking and the breaks are bad along with other things like filters ect... We take it in and are told by their own mechanics that all of this should have been fixed prior to us buying it. Also that the vehicle had been wrecked before as well! We go back in hope that they will make it right since they are self proclaimed the best used care dealer with great costumer service... WRONG! They could care less. Sure they said things like we need to make this right and I'm sorry basically admitting fault but then would do nothing but try to put is in vehicles they didn't want. Nothing equal to what we had. At one point there was a care only 2000 out of our range that the salesmen even said has been on the lot the longest and they cant sell and they wouldn't work with us. Green Hyundai is a scam and gives car dealers that old fashion bad name. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM THEY WILL KNOWINGLY AND PURPOSEFULLY SCREW YOU. Their good name is self made and in not real. Do not fall victim like we did!

I love dealing with these people! Great service every time. Was only here for an oil change, they pulled my cabin filter and let me know it was absolutely disgusting. The shuttle service refused us a ride without carseats for our twins, which they should I m not upset about that. The lady at the front desk offered us her own carseats so we could go home, although we decided to wait for our car that was a very kind offer. They washed my car and even vacuumed the carpet as well as adding paper floor mat protectors as i had requested. Just all around Great people I tell ya!!

Took the family SUV shopping all day throughout Springfield.....the wife and a very active 16 month old boy. We went to Green Hyundai Certified at the end of the day ready to call it a day but we promised we would show up as part of our trip from Jacksonville. Worked with Internet Sales Manager Cameron McClellan. He was excellent and did not push us to buy like salesmen traditionally do. Cameron patiently showed us a plethora of SUV choices and we found a sharp certified pre-owned Hyundai Santa Fe Sport with the Popular Equipment and Leather Premium Equipment packages. He also worked to get us top dollar for our trade at thousands better than any Springfield dealer could. We had our loan arranged with my credit union prior to the visit. But they willingly negotiated with us on our trade and vehicle sale price; we struck a deal quickly. Total time from walking in to see Cameron and buying our first ever Hyundai was just over 2 hours with touring the lot and finding our perfect Hyundai that literally just arrived and received detailing the same day. We initially did not expect anything prior to the visit but Cameron certainly showed us a great dealership that values people instead of treating them as just another number to meet a quota. I've always owned American brands and never thought I'd see myself in a Hyundai. I underestimated the features loaded onto these vehicles. Very pleased with my Santa Fe Sport and I truly believe in how solid the Hyundai brand has become over the years. I would buy from this dealership and Cameron again. Thank you!

High pressure sales.. like short of putting a gun to my head high pressure. Plus they sold me a lemon and then wanted to charge me extra for the unasked for "features" on the replacement vehicle. At least they do honor the warranty.. when my battery crapped out 26 months after I got the second one. Service dept. people are nice enough FWIW. But really do yourself a favor and go to literally any other place.. your wallet and mental health will thank you.

Starting at the entrance and throughout the Dirksen Parkway facility courteous service and a happy, helpful atmosphere was on full display. Staff to assist you with any questions you may have about your visit was available without being pushy or intrusive. The facility Management Team and sales team members are well trained and know the details of the products offered. Whether it's service, sales or an informational visit Green Hyundai delivers. Finally the I highly recommend the Internet Sales Team experience. Highly motivated to make deals fast and efficiently truly with the customers best interest in mind. I just haven't had the best experience with them over charged me for fair market value the warranty is cloudy to say the least. Smoke and mirrors buyer beware! I have gotten 2 cars this 2nd car will be my last never again!

I can't say anything but good for the new car dealership, John D. is the best salesperson that I have every delt with, he will find out answers for you if he don't know, and go above and beyond to make you happy. The service Dept. is great always had a good experience there too. I cancelled my extended warranty and the Finance manager took care of that with no problems everthing there was a good experience.

Bought a brand new 2019 Ioniq from Hyundai. The thing broke down after six weeks of driving it. Diagnostics revealed SIXTEEN error codes that took over two weeks to fix. After having it towed in, they wouldn't lend me a rental to use because they didn't have one. After spending money on bus fares and Uber rides for a week, they finally had a car I could drive. Since the factory warranty was still valid, I didn't pay for the repairs or rental, but I still lost almost $400 from missing work and trying to get around on my own. This is not what a paid for Hyundai.

Travis was so easy to talk with on the phone. He helped me find tires that fit in our budget without making me feel like we were compromising safety by going with a non-name-brand tire. The service department worked us in after a tire blew and we had our car towed into the shop. They all took the stress out of a very stressful situation!! Great work!!

Customer service in the service department is horrible. They would rather talk to each other then wait in customers. They won't even acknowledge you standing right in front of them. I would never recommend this place.

this review is for Green Hyundai on Dirksen. we had our Sonata serviced and the recall done on it last Saturday and was given a new car to drive to go shop since it would be a couple of hours to complete. Andria took care of a car for us and was wonderful. Jake Kennedy was our service advisor and did a great job of getting things done for us. this is our second Sonata and we have bought 4 Santa Fe from Green and everyone has been great. the service and sales dept is second to none. from Phil Hansen who we always deal with to the great people in service this place is a breath of fresh air when it comes to anything dealing with cars. I always recommend them to anyone I know and will continue to do my car purchases here. thank you to all that make up the Green Family. Happy Happy Happy

Went in for an oil change appointment, service write-up associates where a bit more concerned with their pot luck then tending to the 3 customers. It was stated that i needed to do a fuel system flush for $150 and just had it done 6 weeks ago, needless to say that service was declined. Paid $21.95 for tire rotation that was "overdue" but nothing was said/done about it when the rims where replaced for 2nd time 10 days ago. For ASE certified auto techs, the rotation was not done correctly. They moved front to rear and rear forward, but did not cross sides when bringing rear tires to front. Should of been: FL to RR, RR to FR, FR to RL. RL to FL. Once the prepaid oil changes done, I will not be going back.

my mom went in for an oil change and waited about four WHOLE HOURS. Service was absolutely horrid, then when leaving my mother FELL on a wet spot when there was NO WET FLOOR SIGN. She could have seriously been hurt thanks to this negligence. Then called for a manager after leaving and was directed to a voicemail. Do not go here, the service is absolutely disgusting.

Nice friendly business. The service department is through in it's inspections and will let you know if anything else needs attention. They have a nice waiting area to sit which includes a free drink and snack section. Only 4 out of 5 stars because I felt some of the staff were to busy trying to get you to trade your car in for a newer model while your car was being serviced. Over all a great Hyundai dealership.
