They did a thorough job doing the spring yard clean up and de-thatching. They won t over areas multiple times to ensure all of the dead grass from the winter was removed. They cleaned all areas in our landscaping and under our deck. They were more thorough than I had anticipated. We will use them again next year.
Have used Green Horizons for snow removal and lawn mowing for many years and love the quality of the work they provide. Highly recommend them to friends and neighbors.
Green Horizons scheduled overseeding on my lawn two days before they scheduled power raking. Which means that the seed and soil they put down was picked right back up two days after it had been put down.
While they were doing the seeding, their crew accidentally broadcast grass seed over a large garden bed. The error was in putting the seed down. Ironically, they did not skimp on the amount of seed they put where it did not belong. When asked to remediate this, there was 'we'll get back to' response. I fixed the problem myself, though I lost a couple of hours doing so.
They have provided contracted services for me in the past and I can say it was convenient. However, since I cannot apparently afford to NOT supervise their work, there is little point in contracting for services with Green Horizons.
They went above and beyond, and so quick. Would have taken me a whole weekend to tackle what they did in about 2 hours! Amazing
I am a partially disabled Vet, Sometimes the spring and fall cleanup are difficult to keep up with. I have a large yard, and these guy's do a fantastic job. When I was working 70 hours a week the lawn mowing service was also excellent. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Green Horizons. Just a small portion of the lawn.
Excellent work. The crew took extreme care of our plants. lawn and so on, and the finished product is better than expected. Really appreciate the hard work by both crews that were involved. The weekly mowing crew too is doing a great job. Professional and courteous service.
Green Horizons did a superb job of spring cleaning our yard. They were especially accommodating with the schedule given our backyard can remain quite wet after thaw and spring rain. We had to delay three times but they kept us top of their list each day until we found a dry one. We ve used the them three years now and highly recommend them.
Avoid them at all costs! Do yourself a favor and go with anyone else!
Used them for a few seasons of both mowing and snow plowing. The number of times they got things wrong; i.e. damaged concrete work around our house from mower blades, tire tracks cut into the lawn, didn't plow the driveway or walkway fully...greatly outnumber the times it was done right.
The breaking point was this last snow season concluded with severely damaging our lawn, four deep tire holes and blade dug into the lawn 10+ feet from the edge of our driveway, while also running over and destroying our mailbox! Did they quickly follow up with us to communicate what happened and have a plan to replace/repair...Nope! They left our mailbox shoved in a snowbank and we had to call them to inquire what their plan was to repairs was? The process of getting it replaced and our lawn fixed took months of countless emails and repeating our requests endlessly. One customer service person would say, "We'll get that done soon" and the next customer service person would say, "What are we doing for you again?"
We've finally concluded with not getting responses anymore and that is fine! Again, lousy over-priced services and beyond poor customer service, especially when you deal with the many issues that occur when using them. I wish we could get all our payments back...oh well. Lesson Learned, but go with Any other company!

Green Horizon had excellent reviews and I selected them for dethatching and delivery of top soil. They did a very good job. The topsoil delivered was very good quality. I will definitely use them again.
The two-man crew was very friendly professional got right to work did a good job and even did more than I think they were requested to they worked very fast and left absolutely no mess behind. All in all enjoyed the two-man crew very much they did good work.
