Green Hill Estate- Plantation Resort Review

Make time. Visit here. Feel the immense peace that nature has to offer. Lol, I feel like I am advertising this place. But trust me, it's out of the world. Once u reach the main Wagamon hill town, you make a turn to reach Ullipuni. About 20 km of the stretch of road is very bad. But every bump is worth it once you reach Green hill estate. It's right on top of a peak with small out buildings flanking the main building. These outbuildings house the rooms and all rooms are nestled in tea estate. Your balcony juts on to the estate. Your window overlooks estate...

Rooms are good but the ceiling fans aren't placed right. (You need them in summer only maybe) Bathrooms are good.
Their swimming pool wasn't serviceable. They have a small play area and a basketball court. View points are great. There is a small waterfall about 900 mts away from the property. The place is being managed by a group of youngsters who are quiet good and accommodative. Food was good, esp when they check with you about the menu.

I was booked a cottage on 13th of September 2020 for an amount of 4500.
Me and my wife reached there by 5.30 pm. It was raining . The reception staff welcomed me to a.bedroom instead of cottage. He said me some kind of reasons . I said ok, coz on that time it's difficult to get another property.
Nxt sir there is no cable so you can't watch tv. Ok no issues, wifi is here, and he given the wifi password. Mobile network was pathetic there. Half N hour we got wifi. And it's lost
Backyard of the bedroom was open. Next to our room occupied with bachelor's, so it's not good to be there.
Forgot main thing . There is no warm water.
Dinner was quite good.
Complementary breakfast. After having dosa sambar and chutney , i said to my wife let's being some dosa to the staff. Atleast they know how it's tastes..

A good resort. The ambience is great. The place offers a swimming pool, play area for kids, one side basketball court, a conference hall etc. The staff was super friendly.

A decent hill station but still it is not suits for family trip. We will get proper food. They will close the shops at earlier. Most of the resort ppls try to cheat the visitors.

A great place to visit on rainy season and as well as vacation times.. the place is very clean and surrounded by tea plants.. A swimming pool and a small play area for children are available..

Rooms are built in different places on the same hill.

Good Resort to stay with Family. Hospitality in this Resort is so good. I will assure that al can enjoy the climate of vagamon calmly here and the tea estate was very so nice experience. Staying inside to the green tea estate the rooms were in the green heaven

Ambience is good, food was okay but connectivity is very poor, the 5km road to the resort is very pathetic, just like a hill track only off-road vehicles can go there.

Worst place by all means. Very poor service. What they advertise is not what you get. Food quality is very poor , very slow service. Not enough towels beds or soaps were provided. When asked for 12 towels (we paid for 13 people) they said they cant give for each person. Then why in the world you are billing for 13 person??? In their website they have mentioned grill is available for use. But u need to pay 300 rs if you need to grill your own chicken. For breakfast they dont even have eggs or milk. Better avoid their property. Even if u go , get the food from down(there is a small shop down approx 0.5 kms. You can place order and ask them to cook). Total waste of time and money. We booked the property for 3 days and we vacated in 2 days .

I went to this place with my family. Every one was so nice... beautiful place ... nice big rooms...hot water available all the time... calm and quiet... Food was excellent... lot of food choices... You can hear the sound of water fall all the time... Nice water falls close to this resort... Room service was excellent.I will recommend this place to anyone..

VAGAMON - one of the Elysian beauty of Idukki district

All of the major places have entry passes. Resorts / home stay facilities are available at Vagamon but it s better to book before your journey. While thunder and lighting, it s better to stay away from hills.

Awesome serene experience. Totally safe for ladies only group. We enjoyed the scenic beauty & calm atmosphere away from hustle bustle of city life. Staff were hospitable any time you see them. Traditional local veg & non-veg cuisine was delicious. Room with bath was clean & comfortable. We had a superb stay... Thanks to the staff for taking pains to ensure guests are fine even during chill nights with their warm smile.
Waiting to revisit this resort soon. I booked this package through "Suburban Travels & Holidays", Mamangalam, Kochi.

Visit this place in monsoon season. Other visiting places are in walkable distance from this resort. Little bit higher in price but there are other properties near this place with best stay around 2500/- but these people charge 4000 to 5000/-. Food is average.
