Went for the 1st time with my sister and Mom. Mom loves casinos... Valet was extremely nice, casino workers RUDE!! Asked if they had wheelchairs, "NO", When asked where the Hotel was, "DOWN WHERE IT SAYS HOTEL", slots did not pay out at all even when at other casinos they would have and when they did it was very little. We were all so disappointed in our experience.

Booked for a birthday stay. There were issues immediately after check in with selecting a room. Then they told us we had to use a key card to use the elevator to get to our room. There was a gentleman already in the elevator who said he was trying to get to his room on the 9th floor, but it brought him down to the lobby first. We entered ours and selected our floor, 8th. Instead of stopping at the 8th or 9th to left us off, the elevator went up to the 14th floor and stopped completely working. We pushed the call for help button and no staff responded. The lights turned off in the elevator and no one responded when we kept trying to get help. We had to call a few times to gues services in the lobby for them to send someone upstairs for help. When staff came to help, the elevator door still wouldn't open and close properly. They led us to another elevator to use but it took all of us including staff all the way down to the basement. It was a horrible experience, especially for people with a fear of heights and claustrophobia. We requested a full refund after this plus the fact that staff tried to blame us for their faulty elevator even though their own employees had the same issues.
Haven't been to Greektown since pre covid. My return trip was kind of a letdown. Parking was a nightmare. Wasn't allowed in the parking structure because I didn't have the right card. Finally found VIP valet...wasn't allowed there either. Tried the old lot over Fishbones and they wanted 10-25 dollars. When I finally got in the casino we lost quickly which I'm ok with but it was very quiet in there...not a lot of gamblers which I'm guessing is because people couldn't figure out where to park. I used to love going to Greektown and visited regularly but after this Im not sure when I'll come back.
I would be lying to everyone if I said my experience was great. Slots were really tight. The slot attendants are very nice. I have not ever had a problem with that. Its just that I have been going there since it opened and did not hit anything substantial. I watched a friend of mine hit for 2 huge jackpots. Good for him I said. Im happy to see people hitting jackpots. I always tell them nice hit.
