Found some really good info about composting and gardening here. Friendly staff and they had composting bins I couldn't find at any hardware store. They have a good selection of classes and their lush garden is a testament to the fact they know what they are talking about. Check out their website for sure!
The event was longer than anticipated the whole day wasn t clear before hand what we would be doing and learning exactly and I came with my homeschooling daughter to learn about healthy soil and growing conditions etc. And it wound up being a meditative circle inviting people to chant to children sounding songs inviting things into their bodies. My daughter didn t get the skills she came for and I had to chalk it up as a learning experience of the way things are presented is not always what you get.
Great staff. Very good knowledgeable people. Many lectures available throughout the year. They sell compost bins at competitive price.

Composting is next to Godliness. Bought my food scrap digester there.
Went there thinking they were part of the community gardens, whuch they are not. However, really nice staff that made me feel welcome, as I had just moved in the neighborhood. Got to learn and enjoyed my quick time there.
Wonderful little education centre. But it needs to be noted that classes are no longer family friendly unless specifically stated.
The best place to learn about composting and all sorts of other gardening and eco friendly practices. The classes are very affordable.
