The GDRA provides more than just social events for restaurateurs and those in affiliated businesses. The organization has been successful at both the state and local levels lobbying for issues important to members of the hospitality industry. Moreover, it brings together a community of like-minded businesspeople, each of whom is willing to help the others.
Low caliber people with poor business sense. Offers little or no benefit to restaurant owners. Scams vendors. Save your money and buy more French fries rather than joining this joke of an organization.
The GDRA improved changed my organization and career... it helped me to better understand the industry, to connect with industry Leaders, plus advocate and impact legislation... if you are related to the restaurant industry, I strongly recommend investing the time to join and support your local restaurant chapter.
