Great Parks of Hamilton County Review

Great playground set. Blacktop, Gravel, grass and dirt trails with pretty amazing views of the river and new calisthenics bars. Great wet park for kids. There is ever a small fishing pond. In love this park. Well maintained.

Such a fun park! Lots to do here. Splash pad for the kids (cost a couple extra bucks), walking/biking trails, great picnic and swingset areas with pavilions for shelter. I find something new every time! Definitely a fan of the Hamilton Co. Parks (buy a season pass for parking and enjoy them all!)

We visited for a Cincinnati Pops concert. The policing really made traffic flow well when we arrived and when we left. There were a variety of food trucks, (2) beer stands, and port-a-potties conveniently located. Fantastic time and atmosphere.

This is a really nice park with a playground, trails, and 18 hole frisbee golf course! The course is a bit confusing to follow, but is a great workout!!!

Need the better numbers and marks on the frisbee golf baskets but overall pretty good course

Great park, kids jungle jim, picnic areas, frisbee golf course. I think you need to have the Hamilton parks pass to drive in. (10/yr, $3day, accesses all Hamilton County parks.)

Great park lots of activities. The parcourse and the doc golf course both a little run down. Need some repairs.

A wonderful part of the Hamilton Co. Park system. They have a nature center that offers programs for all ages, the water park seems pretty popular w the kids as well as the playground. There are miles of trails for folks to walk, the park is very friendly to dogs and their families too. There is also a frisbee golf course. There are several reservable shelters. There's a catch and release pond. The Rangers are friendly and helpful. You can forget ur in the city by coming out to sit or walk. You can also access Steamboat Springs park from the far end drive leading down to old US 52. The Vineyard Golf Course is just up the road on Nordyke. As well as the Cherry Grove Shopping area, w quick access to 275.

My daughter's favorite place to go. I can just sit on the steps having some me time while the little one plays her heart out.

My rating is more for the water park, which is really a splash ground not sure the need for life guards but that is probably the reason it is an additional cost for kids over 2. Unfortunately didn't get to experience much else in the park or perhaps the rating will change.

Great place for small children. Clean and friendly. Has a concessions stand.

It's a pleasant out of the way park that's generally fairly quiet an peaceful, especially in the fall and winter times. Several nice wooded trails including a fairly intense exercise trail.

We were out helping with trail maintenance today. A good workday and put in the woods to boot.

Great place to take the kids, have large parties, or just to enjoy the scenery. The splash pad is great. You can easily spend a few hours here. Its partially enclosed which is great for small kids! Great place for summer fun!

Very clean and the water park is awesome for the family. We had a birthday party indoors. Relaxing and would recommend this park to everyone with kids. Cheap family park seasonal passes .

Decent frisbee golf more of a beginner course, paved and unpaved trails, yearly admission rates are cheap and usable for all Hamilton county parks, overall fun outdoor park!

A great place to walk, take your dogs, playground and water park for kids, and has a nice small nature center. The shelters are a bit further down their main road from the playground and water park but isn't too bad of a walk if you have a family get together or party at a shelter. One hiking trail has an exercise path with exercise suggestions, and the path by the playground has a nice view of the river.

Beautiful, lots of trails,lots of playgrounds,and wonderful water park for the kids . The visitors center is great.

I go here for the Disc Golf Course, which is super easy, forget what the tee pads say, play this as a par 3 all the way!

Pretty good disc golf course. Kinda short but that adds to some of the fun to it. Skilled players might potentially ace a hole and get some deuces.

The kids had so much fun playing in the water and on the playground. Great place for a birthday party.

This is a beautiful park with beautiful views of the Ohio river. Trails you can go on, walking trails, a little water park for kids. We always love going up here.

Great park! Nature Center has a variety of displays. Walking trails, athletic field and children's summer wet play area. Friendly an knowledgeable staff.

Had a joint picnic with another church. We were at the Elderberry Shelter. This picnic area has a large covered seating area. It is also next to 2 sand volleyball ball courts. There are public restrooms close by (they were actually clean and not foul smelling!). There is an outdoor playground close by as well. There is a small pond as well which people were actually fishing out of. This pond would be something to be aware of if you had small children. There were also trees in our area that provided good shad on a hot and humid day. Very relaxing.

This park is very quiet and have beautiful views from hills. There are splash zone, playground and nice trail.

The BEST obscure trails ever. Room for some real adventures here!

Been coming here since I was a kid and it's only gotten better and always enjoy bringing kids here.

Took my daughter to the water park. Very cheap and fun for the kids. There's no pool, just sprinklers and a slide. Concession food is a little pricey, but you can pack a lunch and take a cooler in too. Plenty of tables in and out of the sun.

Nice short hiking trails. I enjoyed walking my 2 golden. Great place to take young children in the summer. Nice water park.

Great park except for the parking permit Nazis. Look out as they'll often leap in front of your car as you approach their guard shack

Too muddy. Lots of construction. $5 to get in one time for Hamilton County residents. $8 for non-resident for one time entrance. Playground equipment for Grandson was nice except long slide with Windows. Slide becomes too hot.

One of my favorite parks out of all the parks I've been to throughout the states I've lived in.

Woodland Mound is a great park with trail,a small nature center,and scenic views!

Wonderful park.im partial to it because I was married in a field at woodland mound. It also has a fun splash / water park for the kids.
