Worst place for truckers

Lazy staff (purposely understaffed), beyond incompetent management. This is a job filled with lies and false promises. They will even keep you longer than the law says they should and you work most of your off days (Fridays). Maybe being homeless isn t so bad.

Warehouse for GLW&S... older building... polite and fairly fast...not a bad place to deliver.

Worst experience delivering ever, arrived early for my appointment by 1 hour. I was given a dock door and then promptly forgot about. I watched drivers come over 1.5 hours after me and get unloaded first! I am currently in the dock 3+hours later .... I am giving them 15 more mins before I leave! DO NOT deliver here the staff is very rude and unprofessional!!!!

HORRIBLE PLACE TO WORK. I won't even get into the rat and possum problems i'll just stick with work related issues. We have managers that keep you in the dark and do not deliver adequate information; I have been asking for a rule book since march and it is november. They will follow proper punishment protocol but will not teach you all of the rules. They have a real pathetic "throw them to the wolves attitude" because they feel most people will quit soon anyway. Even the managers go behind each other back to tell on each other. It is a real uncomfortable place; the favoritism they exude is atrocious. They fire some at the drop of a hat and let others literally get away with work place bullying. They also have just changed our start time to 5:30 without an off times when all the employees were promised that this job would start at 7:30 pm. If you are an aspiring employee just remember to look around more and the only perk they offer is weekly pay but even then it is not worth it.

The poor lack up upper management in this establishment is almost unbelievable. The supervisors are overworked with no compensation (financially or pto) and the lack of staff makes it almost impossible to take a day off. The interior of the building itself is not maintained properly, allowing the machinery to break down consistently, adding hours on to each evening's shift. Breathing is also an issue due to the mold growing in the bathrooms that seem to be quietly overlooked by the owners. Conveniently, they also overlook Covid protocol and disinfection procedures with no touch points being wiped between shifts. Trying to grow within the company is an impossible task. All upper management share the same race/nationality and have hired the unexperienced instead of knowledgeable in-house staff. This establishment is full of false hopes and dead end promises.

Need to let delivery drivers know when mty. Slow to unload.

I honestly hate writing bad reviews and I never do with only one bad experience but I have been a customer of GLWAS for many years and the customer service representatives that answer the phones are terrible. Just goes to show that protected territory s don t work because of the lack of competition.
