I had an average experience with this company. The service provided was satisfactory, but nothing exceptional. The staff was friendly, but not overly helpful. I might consider using their services again if necessary.

About Great lakes st. lawrence governors & premiers

Great Lakes St. Lawrence Governors & Premiers: Driving Economic Growth and Environmental Protection

The Great Lakes St. Lawrence Governors & Premiers is a unique partnership of eight US states and two Canadian provinces that share a common vision of sustainable economic growth and environmental stewardship in the Great Lakes-St. Lawrence region. The organization was established in 1983 to promote cooperation among the member jurisdictions on issues related to trade, transportation, energy, environment, tourism, and other areas of mutual interest.

Today, the Great Lakes-St. Lawrence region is home to over 100 million people and generates more than $6 trillion in economic activity annually – making it one of the largest regional economies in the world. The region also boasts an abundance of natural resources, including the world's largest system of surface fresh water that provides drinking water for millions of people.

The Governors and Premiers work as equal partners to advance their shared goals through collaboration on policy development, advocacy at all levels of government, public outreach and education initiatives, research projects, and other activities that support sustainable economic growth while protecting natural resources.

One key area where the organization has made significant progress is in promoting trade within the region. The Great Lakes-St. Lawrence Seaway System is a vital transportation artery that connects North America's heartland with global markets via ocean-going vessels from around the world. In recent years, efforts have been made to modernize infrastructure along this route to improve efficiency and reduce costs for shippers while minimizing environmental impacts.

Another important focus area for the Governors & Premiers is energy policy. The region has abundant sources of renewable energy such as wind power which can help reduce greenhouse gas emissions while creating jobs locally.

In addition to promoting economic growth through trade and energy policies that are environmentally responsible; they also work together on initiatives aimed at protecting natural resources such as water quality monitoring programs or invasive species control measures which can threaten ecosystems if left unchecked.

Overall; this partnership between US states (Illinois Indiana Michigan Minnesota New York Ohio Pennsylvania Wisconsin)and Canadian provinces (Ontario Quebec)is an example for others around how collaboration can drive positive change towards sustainable development goals by balancing economic growth with environmental protection efforts - all while ensuring social equity remains at forefront too!
