If i could give a negative rating, i would.

They are incredibly rude over the phone. They dont listen to your responses at all. They talk over you. I was contact by them, i hadnt applied, im not even looking for work, yet i was contacted multiple times by them in a very short space of time, about the same role, which i had no interest in. When they finally listened and i told them i wasnt interested, they hung up, no response to that at all. Its a wonder they have any candidates at all.

I sent my CV over to the email on their website and also applied for a role via a job site. I called next day and spoke to Petria Gatziou who couldn't find my CV but said if I sent it directly to her, she would call me back straight away. I sent it and waited. She didn't call me back and so I called her instead. She then proceeded to tell me that as I had both PM and BA skills I wasn't suitable for a PM role. I mentioned that I was a qualified PRINCE2 project manager and additionally had BA skills and experience. Oh, she said, she take another look at my CV but still didn't think I was suitable for a PM role. Perhaps she hadn't spotted the programme I successfully delivered? Oh my goodness! What a joke! I can only assume she is very inexperienced and not trained properly, unless this is the standard of Gravitas' candidate appraisal process. As a candidate I would avoid this firm and as a client, (asking them to find suitable candidates), I would avoid them too.

Almost all agents stretch the truth, but Gravitas just blatantly lie. People make career decisions to work for a particular company based on what they are sold by the agent. In over 10 years in the field, I have never had such a disappointing experience. If it were just the one agent, that would be one thing, but everyone that I spoke to at the office that was placed by Gravitas said that they were sold the same lies by their agents, so this seems to be a company trick . Totally unethical.

The Talent Acquisition Manager named Katie is extremely rude and arrogant. Advice to management look for another person to replace Katie, as she is letting talented people go with her poor attitude.

Another recruitment agency who messages you, you send them their CV, a role is discussed, then you never hear from them again. Not even a polite "no". Zoe just stopped answering the phone, and stopped replying to emails.

THESE are the companies that give recruiters a bad name. Shameful.

Possibly the worst recruitment company I have ever worked with

They've sent me two roles now that are both based in London. It takes under five minutes to find out online that I am not based anywhere near London. With the first one, I replied to Joe Lecointe to tell him I was not in London so you'd think their records would have been updated but no, another one came through.



There are much better recruitment companies out there.

I was horrified when a nosy bloke from Gravitas continually pestered me to divulge the clients of other agencies I applied for over the phone. Even when I explained about the confidentiality agreements I had with the agencies, he still badgered me to breach them! But if I had a confidentiality agreement with them, they would expect me not to contravene it. Sheer hypocrisy, demonstrating their dodginess and unreliability. Stay away from them.
