A great fun staff. Seems to always have a live one man band every time I show up.

Stopped in for a drink. Super cute and clean local bar. Friendly staff! Food going by looked great. The menu appears to be typical bar fare with choices for everyone.....not particularly Irish food.

Great food and the regular daytime server is The BEST!

Good food reasonably priced. Service was great! We have been coming here on and off for many years. The one negative change we have noticed is quite the increase in the price of their drinks. Really...$7.00 for a glass of house Chardonnay and $9.00 for a tall Guinness . This is downtown Grattan, not downtown Grand Rapids. Probably won't be back any time soon.

They have a club wrap that tastes like a BLT in a tortilla. They have pleasent waitress. Also, a huge juicy burger that is stacked with lettuce, tomatoes, ect. It is amazing there!

Good old fashioned pub, good food, good service, lots of friendly faces, not sure why we don't go there more often.

Bad service. Only the wings were good. Fries seemed reheated. Not coming back.

Service was good and food not bad, but if you have a problem, beware! There is no manager on duty, owner couldn t be reached and the bartender on duty was in charge, but can t make any decisions like that . There was no attempt to correct the overcharged amount on drinks and no willingness to work out a solution. We will definitely not be going back to a place that doesn t care about customer relationships

Live music is always fun, and the best olive burger I've ever had! I have to get that and the wings every time I go!

This place used to be awesome. Things change with new employees. The service was non existent. We waited and waited but never got any attention from the wait staff. So we can't comment on the food or drink since we never got any. We just left and won't be back. The current consensus is that place changed. Most complaints are about service and lack of it, but the food (from what I hear) isn't great anymore either. Save your money or eat somewhere else.

It's one of those places that make you feel comfortable. Decent food, great service, reasonable prices.

Quaint little dive with great food. Been there 3 times, corn beef sandwich was wonderful and hamburger and steak night specials were served up quickly as well as being tasty and reasonably priced.

Absolute Terrible! Service is always slow, food is Nothing to brag about. Has gone down hill over the years . We have even gone back to see if it was just an off day. They must have an awful lot of OFF Days.. I swore Id never go back. Today my husband decided to give it one more try as he was going to bring me lunch to my work... He got to my work , opened to look at it and was so upset. He even called them and nothing.. We Will NEVER EVER go back. Apparently its more then just an "OFF DAY" cuz its every time.

Had the 8oz sizzler, food was great. Absolutely love the little loaves of bread. Service was awesome, they were packed and we got drinks right away, food followed shortly after. Waitress was phenomenal!

This place has been here since the mid sixtys when i fist started coming to gratten as a young boy. Spent many a night in there playing pool and drinking beer as a young man great times

Always a great time!!! You have to have one of their burgers and a pint of Guinness!!! Amazing!

Food was good. Waiter was new, but was doing a good job. The kitchen messed up our orders pretty well, I felt bad for our waiter. We will try another Thursday night sometime.

We had a group of 13 people and Our waitress was Michele. Pretty basic drinks a few food orders and a round of shots. Food was served without napkins or silverware, shots took 25 minutes and weren't chilled, the burger special come with a beer and 3 didn't receive the beer included, didn't get the condiments requested, they couldn't figure out basic shot orders and claimed they had to wash glasses to make them, several couldn't get a drink when requested and there were only 4 other tables (and other servers wading on those tables). We are all regulars and easy to deal with (several have served or bartended and know how customers should be treated). One person picked up the whole bill (that was way higher than it should've been since we didn't get the beers with the burgers and extra drinks added to the bill) and felt the server sucked so he gave her 12%. The server (Michele) came back to the table and made a huge scene about her tip, treatened to call the owner and police because she should've got atleast 20%......this was the craziest thing I've ever seen. If she did a good job her tip would've been a lot more but since she sucked she should've been happy with what she got! FYI....tip at least 20% regardless of service at Grattan Bar or your server will seriously go postal on you!!!

Visited New Years Eve. Grossly understaffed to the point that wait staff was taking orders and then going to the kitchen to cook the food. Good food, nice selection on menu, but just was not prepared sraff-wise on a key night.

Good food, friendly staff. My only complaint is that the AC was on max and it was only in the 50s outside - either that our we had been set directly under the AC vent. We just ate fast and kept our coats on.

The ribeye was amazing. Great food and cool atmosphere for saint Patrick's day.

Monday has two 8oz sizzlers, potato side, starter salad and a loaf of bread for $11.99 .. awesome dinner special. Only thing I wish this place had was a ramp in the front for access!

Love this place. Cozy neighborhood bar feel. Amazing specials. We love burrito night on Tuesdays, whitefish Wednesday and the amazing $5 burger and beer Thursday.

On occasion the food is good but the service is horrible. Im in front of the waitress typing this and she didnt even notice. Its like are talbe was invisible. Its insane 4 steaks one cooked right. Good Monday date night

They open at noon. More like 12:30 . Was not worth the wait to get in. Bad service all of our Hamburg orders where wrong. Waitress was horrible. Place has gone down hill. Bad service and bad food.

When you go to a small town pub you cant go with a suburban mind set. These people work very hard at taking care of their clients. You probably got bad service due to your poor attitude. Some times a server will make mistakes, but that is no reason to give them a poor rating from your first experience. They put the beer on tap that the clients want. Not what is socially trendy!! An Irish pub doesn't always have to have Irish cuisine. I have been going to the Grattan for a loooooooong time and they have a very loyal client base because of the hard work and the way they treat their clients. If your looking for status go to Bostwick Lake Inn. In closing thank you for you support in this matter.

Good food, service and "Just Fred" was playing some tunes.

A little expensive for a Bud light in my opinion $3.50.

A charming dive bar minutes away from grattan Raceway. They had a cheap burger deal and the burger was DELICIOUS.

They advertised their daily special on Facebook. We drove an hour for their Sunday hamburger special. We were told it was no longer on Sunday. We pointed out it was still advertised on Facebook. The owner refused to honor the offer. We also had to wait over an hour for our food and there were only 3 other tables of customers.

Fish and chips specisl was really great. Who knew that this place would be so good?

Hometown Pub. Daily specials are always great! Service leaves something to be disired but if you aren't in a hurry...

Way to much for draft beer! Two beers and a salad with tip 24,00.

Thurs burger, fries and a draft 5.99 and chicken wings are the cats meow!

Food is great...service is sometimes hit or miss depending on the waitress and of they are super busy or not
