A good place to have coffee, chocolate, tea ... also the money raised goes to social actions. It is seen that there were live performances, which had to be paid separately

Great community centre, lots of interesting things on and a place to eat or have a cuppa
Fantastic event space, catering and service is excellent and the initiative you're supporting is wonderful. Alexander did a great job of looking after 80 of us for a drinks reception.
Somewhat slow to attend. But rich food and ample place. Highly recommended.
They are doing the best they can to...well, who know... It's a project.. sounds nice... Give it some money.
Also, will someone please think about the children. I mean the children for loves sake. And the fish.. think of the fish too. Because it's delicious..!
Very tasty hot chocolate at a very good price. Wonderful project all round - we love a social enterprise
A pleasant and excellent market. Next up is a great farmers market
Good place to help with what one consumes. They allow you to go to the bathroom without paying or consuming.
Great for varies food choices from British restaurants to over seas .plus great British pub choices too.
Great food, great prices, great staff, great cause. Don't miss it.

Went here for a launch. Was a fantastic experience. Loved the design inside and out.
The centre for so much good work with vulnerable people who need some support. Great place to hire for meetings, seminars too
I just fully recommended, check out the project and you'll see why. Also, It's a nice place in a corner, not as crowded as the other bits of the city... :)
Very interesting place place ruled by a charity. It has a bar with good deals
Lovely, kind people working here allowed us to keep our luggage at their cafe for a couple of hours while we sorted out accommodation elsewhere. They didn't charge us or anything, and were very friendly and courteous. Looked like a nice place to go. Thanks again!
Lovely staff, great work done there and tasty food.
Good food at a good price. Very friendly staff Sandesman's boys are there
This place is only a social enterprise when it suits them .I was refused something to eat today at 1 despite having breakfast there yesterday which was last thing I eat .
Free wifi and outlets available to do work. The staff were extremely friendly but she caked on the cinnamon on my cappuccino.
Great cafe. Various meeting rooms. Caring charity community project located in the heart of Edinburgh. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced food. Popular with travellers. Has a multicultural mix of people.
We came here on several free walking tours as this stop was part of a "break" built into the tour itself and it was both a smart move to gain publicity about the place, but also a nice place to rest for a few minutes. If I remember right, the cafe directly works with a charity (the homeless of Edinburgh I think) so it was nice to support that cause while also drinking a hot coffee and eating a delicious carrot cake.
The best community center I've ever been into. A pleasure to volunteer at and a standout Fringe venue. Pay a visit!
People are lovely and helpful here, there is lots going on and they have a lovely little cafe, I would recommend to visitors of Edinburgh.
Brilliant location. Bright, friendly and a smashing bacon roll. What's not to love.
Not entirely sure how to describe this place, it's not a cafe per se, and not very cosy, although it looks modern. The staff were OK, a little bit uninterested at first, as they were finishing eating their sandwich, and then I didn't like that our cakes were served atop a napkin on the plate that was handled by the server, which was after them eating and handling money payment, without washing hands first. It was nice that we were told we could sit-down while drinks were prepared and they were then brought over to us. Restrooms were clean and fresh.
My cousin and her husband and children had a birthday party here and it was most enjoyable. The staff were brilliant and the food and drink were excellent. A great night was had by all.
Lovely food
great staff
good prices
Great place for grabbing some coffee with a snack. WiFi is good
Was here for a wedding reception. A good space with good catering options.
Really friendly staff and a range off groups for all to enjoy and really friendly members that always look to help out
A fantastic place. The staff are very helpful. The food is an excellent variety. All the money the cafe makes goes to help those who are less and vulnerable in society.
Wonderful atmosphere, great prices and nice products!
It's got outside seats which is nice in summer and it's reasonably priced and good quality. Also has useful meeting rooms.
Great little social enterprise. Supporting people from all back grounds and operating out of a lovely modern building and serving up a decent bite to eat at very reasonable prices!
Great catering. Good range of classes for underprivileged. Opportunity to volunteer
What a fantastic place. Gorgeous cafe right in the Grassmarket. Accessible, lovely bright open space, proper tea and fabulous cakes. AND it's a community support project and your cake pays for people to learn and develop their skills. Perfect.
Good place for a quick coffee or light lunch
Great cause all proceeds going to charity
Saw a very funny Fringe show 'A Comedy Brunch' at 10.45. Julie Grady Thomas' charming intelligent comedy was hilarious and had the audience in stiches. Neil Harris was very smart and funny. A really good way to start a day at the fringe. If the other just the topic shows are this good then they will be well worth going to see, but this show is a must see.
The coffee and breakfast was also very nice at the cafe. Well with a visit.
Grassmarket project is a good place to go when you or friend fell down on someday. Great staff make you welcome to there classes thank you for being there from Tommy
I were here for a Fringe-event. Clean rooms. The staff seemed friendly. The bathroom had Free hygiene products for women. Overall a really nice experiance!
Local cafe helping out the community. I love that my tour guide recommended this place which the members of the tour were happy to support. Enjoyed the coffee and sweets.
A lovely place that helps support the skills of the community
I've been a volunteer here for 6yrs now and absolutely Love this place.
We went to this place in the middle of a tour and the truth is that they have quite good prices in the cafeteria and the bathrooms are clean enough to use them.
A nice place to sit down for some coffee and a scone.
Why buy coffee at Costa or Starbucks when you can get it here and do some good?
Super friendly welcoming and ethical project. A joy .
Site operated by a community that helps homeless people. Project to support.
We attended "The Big Value Comedy Show" here, as part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival (2017) - our second show. Lovely staff, pleasant environment and well worth going.
My sister and her husband know the manager of this project and although he was elsewhere we stopped for soup and a sandwich. Lots of people coming for meetings and the cafe was full. The manager did come back and it was good to meet him. Another Wee gem.
Another amazing community group with loads of activities
Fantastic festival venue show fantastic also great venue for locals
Coffee managed by an NGO where they usually stop all the groups that do Free tours, to have a coffee during the visit and buy tickets for other paid excursions. Pucherete coffee and some homemade sweets, the best thing is not that, but the social work they do with what they raise with their effort
Visited as it was a venue for an Edinburgh Fringe performance. Small but bright and friendly cafe without some outdoor space.
Was my first time there yesterday and the place is very welcoming and there are lots to do if you like to do thing's that get you out the house and can meet lots of people and help with a range of stuff you sould pop in and see for your self qnd you can get a meal on a Monday night
Excellent place, people are very friendly.
The cafe shop that is inside is amazing, they have good price and the food is good.
The customer service is the best, however sometimes could be very busy, due that a free walking tour company stop there for few minutes several times during the day.
In that place you can find different activities that support the community to acquire new skills and socialize with other.
It is good place and definitely they are doing an excellent job.
a fantastic place providing a great and much needed service's to a large section of the community/Edinburgh as a whole, friendly, helpful staff do a great job and have been brilliant for myself and many others with "aquired disabilitys" the produce from the woodwork shop is extremely high quality as well as being beautiful, i really cant thank the project enough and look forward to spending time there every week, well worth a visit for a reasonably priced good nutritious meal from the kitchen/cafe!!!
