My husband and I have been making wine at Grape Finale since it opened several years ago. Lisa and Jurgen are wonderful teachers, knowledgeable and hands on. Anyone can do it - no previous experience necessary - simply the love of wine! We have made wine with grapes from California, Chile, Italy and South Africa. Every wine was fabulous. We will continue making wine here and we highly recommend Grape Finale to everyone.

My wife and I had our first wine-making experience at Grape Finale, and we loved it. We learned so much from the process (from the grape crushing through to the bottling), and we now have many bottles of delicious wine from our Chile grapes. We're looking forward to doing this again at Grape Finale.

This past season was the second time I have made wine at Grape Finale. This first time was with a group of friends and the second time I organized as a company event. I have to say it is a fun experience for all. It offers the opportunity to bring a group together in a relaxed and social environment. The entire crew at Grape Finale are also knowledgeable and offered the opportunity to learn about the wine making process. I was also pleased with the final result! The wine is very good. I would recommend.

Lisa is very knowledgeable and puts a great deal of effort into picking grapes that produce spectacular wines at a reasonable price. Winemakers have the opportunity to choose their level of involvement in the process. I have participated in the different stages of the process and would recommend the same to others. The Grape Finale team is very organized, making participating in the process both a learning session and a lot of fun.

Update 8/3/2018: Another great year, another superb harvest, a bunch more fun, and, of course, fabulous wines. Each year, we've increased the amount of wine we make with Lisa and continue to sincerely enjoy the experience -- especially the friendships we've made at Grape Finale.
Honestly, if there were ten stars available, Grape Finale and Lisa deserve them -- five stars just don't express how good it really is.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We've been making wine with Lisa since the beginning and look forward to it each new season.
Grape Finale is unique among wine making organizations in our area. Personally, we've made 2 or 3 different varietals most seasons as part of a larger group, but have also done a 1/4 barrel of one varietal grape with a few others to aggregate to a barrel--GF is very flexible that way.
Lisa is just great, the process is fun-everyone participates in all of the steps to make and bottle wine, and the wines themselves are superb!

We are now in our 8th year and we still haven't filled this thing up!

We had a baby shower event (yes, baby shower event at a winery !!) and our guests loved the venue and the whole experience.. It was unconventional even for us to have a welcome baby party here but the experience was just magical and created a memory we will always cherish. This venue is also super kid friendly. Lisa is an outstanding host/owner/business woman and she had a big part in making this event for us even more special. Thank you, Grape Finale and Lisa !

We have been making wines at Grape Finale since 2012. We enjoy making our own wine and we have met many great people there. Sometimes we go out for pizza afterwards, with a bottle of wine or two of course. The wines have been flavorful and we've learned many things about the wine making process. To date (Mar 2019) we have bottled 900 and have 144 more scheduled to bottle in the near future. Then more after that. I recommend joining us.

We had a wonderful time learning about all the steps there are in the entire wine making process. From tasting the grapes before they were crushed to putting our aged wine in bottles. What a great experience. Then you get to enjoy it! Love wine? Yes or no, you'll love this experience!

I hosted my sister's surprise bridal shower at Grape Finale and it was better than we ever expected! Lisa was warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful from day one. She was flexible and accommodating with all our special requests and makes you feel just like family. We were able to customize the shower so it was absolutely perfect! Lisa even played into the surprise when I showed up with my sister. It was such a unique shower! We had the guests take part in bottling wine. Lisa provided a "Guess the Grape" game which was such a hit! All of our guests had so much fun and some even plan to host their own events there in the future. The room is open and spacious and the stacked wine barrels around the perimeter add a great touch. I would highly recommend Grape Finale for any event!! We will definitely be back whether it be for wine making or hosting another event!

My wife and I have been making wine at Grape Finale for several years now. We have always had a great experience with Lisa and her team and have made some great wines. We enjoy giving some bottles as gifts and the comments about the wine are always quite positive! We also enjoy gathering with friends to go in on a portion of a barrel.

How do you describe a wonderful wine making experience? Two words: Grape Finale! Your hosts, Lisa and Jurgen, are not only knowledgeable and welcoming, but you become part of a family process in creating your own personal wine, either one type or many types, depending on your taste. I personally have made wine with Grape Finale since 2012. Many cases later, I can only say the wine gets better every year and the expertise of the staff at Grape Finale is responsible for seeing that through. The process is seamless and that is a result of a finely run business and the input of its clientele. Do not miss the opportunity to make excellent wine of your choosing and enjoying the fruits of your labor in seasons to come!

This is a warm and friendly place to gather for fabulous wine making as well as conversing with the very knowledgeable staff. We have made several barrels of wine with Grape Finale. The fact that you can go and sample the wines to make, gives it even more of a personal touch. We love to gather there with our family and friends because we know it will always be an enjoyable time.

I recently finished the process of making pinot noir and dragons tooth red wines. I learned a TON about wine making and the various grapes used.

If you are looking to learn something new or have a general interest in wine, give them a call. I believe a misconception is you have to purchase a full barrel of wine.....not true. The office can point you to various groups that you can join that share barrels. Some groups have members that purchased as few as 6 bottles. Another misconception is they are using NJ grapes. Nope. They import grapes that are from some of the best wine regions in the US. (Willamette, Napa, etc.) The cool part is you get to personalize the labels for your bottles......no generic bland labeling. You can make it all your own.

Finally.....go to their website and see when they are having open houses. Talk to the staff, sample some of the wine. You will be amazed.

Making our own wine has become for my wife and I a fun, social event. We made a lot of new friends and learned a lot about the wine making process from Lisa V. who is hands on and is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. We look forward to each wine selection, crushing, and bottling. There are many wine varieties to choose from. The real proof is that Grape Finale has been awarded numerous awards for many wines made there. That should be enough to convince anybody that this is THE place to take your plunge into winemaking. You will not be disappointed.

We have had the most educational and fun experience you could imagine. Hands on from start to finish all while learning about all aspects of wine making. We made wine from real grapes picked at various regions around the world. You pick the type of wine, you pick the blend of grapes, all with the expert help from Lisa ,an accomplished wine maker with a delightful personality. This all sets Grape Finale a part from similar wine makers. We have had a wonderful time, each time. You have to give it a try. Thanks, Lisa and Jurgen

What a fun - and educational - experience. We have made four different wines with Grape Finale (Super Tuscan, Chardonnay, Opus Blend and Chateauneuf du Pape) and have just recently crushed and pressed a Pinot Noir and a Prisoners Blend. Lisa and Jurgen have taught us so much about making wine. This is a first class operation!!!

We had so much fun making wine at Grape Finale. We stumbled upon a complementary wine tasting event and have been hooked ever since. We shared a barrel with a group of friends, and it was a lot of fun learning and participating in the wine-making process. Lisa and her crew are very knowledgeable, and the wines made at Grape Finale have won American Wine Society awards. It's always fun sharing a bottle of our handcrafted wine with family, friends and business associates. We highly recommend your trying your hand at wine making--you'll love it! There is absolutely nothing to whine about when wine is involved!

This place is a wonderful surprise! It's so much fun to participate in the wine-making process and to create something unique and personal to enjoy or give as gifts. So many people are skeptical about the quality of the wine (admittedly, so was I!) but rest assured, it is excellent. Not only do I love the Petite Sirah that we made as a group, but I have tasted quite a variety of Grape Finale's other wines and across the board, they are excellent. Lisa is a fabulous business woman and very generous in our community. She makes everything easy and she makes it fun. Don't miss this great little gem in Hunterdon!

What a wonderful experience making wine right here in Hunterdon County. Not to mention the awards our wines have made. Thank you!

Our 2nd wine making tour at Grape Finale and it never ceases to amaze me how good our wine turns out. Lisa is not only knowledgeable but a gracious
host as well. Her enthusiasm never ends from beginning to the end of the process. How wonderful we are to have her and Grape Finale in the little town next door. The wine we bottled this year was even better than expected and great timing during these challenging times. Make, drink and love more wine! Kuddos Lisa to you and your professional staff.

I had my entire staff make wine for our salon. We are a staff of 10 and the goal was to make this a team building experience. We had a fabulous time and it was wonderful to see my staff work so well as a team. Lisa is wonderful at cutomizing your experience. Everyone was involved in the entire process. The experience is fulfilling and the knowledge she shares is fascinating. For me the best part was bottling at the last visit. You reap what you sow and to see it all come together bottled with the custom label we designed at the end was very rewarding!!!!
In the end it was more than a team building experience - we met great people and devloped better relationshipswith each other.

We have been making wine at Grape Finale for several years and have always been happy with the end product. Fresh grapes only are used, from Chile, California, Washington, Oregon and most recently South Africa. There is a quite wide variety of wines available to make and it is even possible to "design" your own blended wine. Lisa runs a great operation - it's fun, everyone assists in the crushing, pressing and best of all the bottling/corking/labeling. Highly recommend it. (That's me to the left!)

What an amazing place in our own backyard. We were invited by our company to attend a wine bottling team building event. It was amazingly fun! Lisa is a gracious host. We were allowed to bring snacks and drinks. While we were bottling our team decided, completely impromptu, to create a new label for our bottles. Lisa was more than happy to stop what she was doing and assist us in our creation. Oh and the wine is excellent as well! Grape Finale is a fun and interactive space for a team building event.

Thoroughly enjoy making wine at the Grape Finale in its friendly family-like atmosphere. From the initial open houses where we sample wines made during previous years (to decide what wine to make) the crush, press, racking and bottling are good hands on learning experiences. And did I mention fun too? This winery has won many well deserved awards for the wines we have made.

I had my daughter's college graduation party with family and friends at Grape Finale and it was the best thing I ever did. I didn't have to worry about the rain and heat and especially fitting everyone in my house. Lisa, the owner was so accommodating. She was extremely professional and very pleasant to work with. She really gave us great ideas for set up and truly wanted to make it a memorable experience for my daughter. Grape Finale is a very unique and beautiful room and was set up just as we asked. I couldn't ask for more...all my guests raved about Grape Finale. It's really a great place to have an event of any kind. We had many family and friends at the party and we had plenty of room to socialize, eat and enjoy the atmosphere. Plenty of parking was so convenient too. My daughter had an awesome time and my overall experience was above and beyond my expectations. I am so glad I had the party there and would highly recommend if you are looking for a different party venue with no hassles this is the place for you. I'm already thinking ahead to gather a group of friends and go again to try the wine making.

We had a terrific experience making wine at Grape Finale. As this was our first time doing so, we really did not know what to expect. We began the process as a group from our neighborhood. The Grape Finale building is large but not intimidating. Our first visit was fun and more than welcoming. The personnel are friendly, clearly experienced and immediately embraced our group. They explained the entire process, let us sample a variety of wines and put us to work. Thereafter, each phase of the wine making process became even more enjoyable. Each phase allowed those present to taste the wine to see its progress. In particular, we made two cases of wine, one white and one red. The final phase of bottling and labeling with individually made labels was a nice touch! The quality of the wine made with our own hands is comparable to, if not better than many wines that can be purchased over the counter. The great news is that our wine is can be enjoyed and appreciate more since we made it. Undoubtably, after we consume our wine we plan to return to make more. The opportunity provided by Grape Finale provided us a memorable, unique and fun experience that is well worth repeating.

We have been making wine at Grape Finale since it opened in 2011. Our Malbec will be bottled soon, and the Riesling is next. So far, we ve done one or two wines at each session (Spring and Fall), which is allowing us to build our inventory. We share the experience with friends to get the cost down and make the whole thing more fun. We are very pleased with the wine and everyone that we have shared it with thinks it s great. It s really nice to give as gifts as well, with our own label! Lisa really knows what she is doing and the wine is superb.

We had made wine before at another winery but they went out of business so we gave Grape Finale a try. They exceeded our expectations! We made a Brunello and a Super Tuscan as an extended family and used our own labels. They came out great! Tried the Super Tuscan the other day and it was great even knowing it will get even better with some aging. Lisa and staff were all very knowledgeable and we enjoyed going through the process. With COVID going on they were very thoughtful and set up appropriately so we felt safe during the bottling process. We had done the previous stages of winemaking before COVID hit. We highly recommend Grape Finale and will be back after we drink through our current wines.

The owners and staff at Grape Finale are professional, welcoming and extremely talented with wine making as evidenced with their consistent award winning wines. They win more medals at the New Jersey State Fair than anyone else. It s simple: their wines taste great! I have been making wine here since 2012. I enjoy the process and the results. Grape Finale is simply THE BEST!! Cheers!

Our group from a 55 plus development got together to make wine. This was a learning experience with hands-on wine-making. However, more than that , this was a great social event. We brought snacks and, of course, drank some very delicious wine. We were able to taste various types of reds and whites and choose which ones we wanted to make. The process began in the fall and the final step - labeling ends in the summer. Everyone at Grape Finale was friendly and helpful and extremely knowledgeable. We were confident that we would get a delicious tasting wine in the end. We enjoyed the experience so much that we are now making wine for the 2nd time. Each step along the way brought something new and interesting. The bottles with the labels that we chose also make excellent gifts and we look forward to an ongoing relationship with Grape Finale.
