From January 7-17 2013 I stayed in the Excalibur hotel in Las Vegas. I was hassled from the moment I got there until the moment I left by Grandview staff trying to sell me a timeshare. It got to the point where my girlfriend and I were hiding behind walls and peeking around corners in an effort to avoid the salespeople. We were also hassled while visiting the Luxor, the New York, New York and outside on the strip in front of the stores and restaurants.
Grandview staff were not only annoying, they were dishonest. They kept offering me a a "free" show. In order to see the show I would have had to sit through a sales pitch. That is not "free" it costs time.

The rep was friendly, upfront and honest about everything. The timeshare presentation was everything that was explained. Only thing that I did not like was the casino promotion. You must hit the jackpot in order to win with promo.

LIARS and SCAM artists!!!

LIARS and SCAM artists!!!
I was approached by them about an offer to stay at the Luxer for a week as long as I go to a timeshare presentation. To do this, I'd have to give them a $124 deposit to hold my hotel room, in which I would get back upon either canceling, or going to the presentation. I asked, "In what scenario would I NOT get my deposit back?" He said "None whatsoever, you will definitely get it back." I then asked, "What if I completely forget about it? I'm very forgetful so what happens if I plan to use it in a few months but forget about it. Do I lose my deposit then?" And he said "Nope. Once it expires the money goes right back into your account."
Well, guess what??? I call to cancel and they tell me "No. We cannot give you your $124 deposit back. And we have a receipt that says you only had 30 days to cancel with your signature on it."
LIARS! DECEIVERS! SCAMMERS!!!!!
I'm going to issue a chargeback on these people. If that doesn't work, I will drive 5 hours to Vegas every single day, stand by their set-up with a sign that says "SCAMMERS", and warn all their victims until they give me my deposit back.

Told us we would spend 1-2 hours touring a timeshare resort, ultimately spent 3 1/2 hours before they finally redeemed our package deal and gave us our tickets. Ridiculous pitch, said we could save money by spending $240 a week for 1 week of vacation per year?? If the marketing reps try to rope you in at local hotels, don't fall for it. You'll be better off just spending your time doing literally anything else.

Rating: Minus a Star UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHO...

Rating: Minus a Star UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD ANYONE AGREE TO PURCHASE A MARKETING PROGRAM FROM GRANDVIEW MARKETING OR POSSIBLY THEIR SISTER COMPANY, PARAMOUNT. In November, 2013, my sister and I stayed at the Luxor and we each purchased an offer for a free 3 night/4 day visit in exchange for listening to the presentation for a new facility being built. I just called today, 6/27/14, to arrange two (2) room reservations for us to return and was told by Grandview Marketing that UNFORTUNATELY any other FAMILY MEMBER or FRIEND who also purchased the offer CANNOT USE it at the SAME TIME. REALLY?! REALLY?! The spokesperson for Grandview Marketing at Luxor knew, and understood, that we would be returning at the same time. I read the Agreement at least 3 times, circled and deleted some items I felt were not acceptable and signed the Agreement. If I had read that we were not able to return and use the offer at the same time, I would not have agreed/signed. Of course, I could have missed this statement, however, the agent for Grandview Marketing at the Luxor was well aware that we would be returning at the same time and did not bring this point to our attention. This was misrepresentation at the very least. IS THIS how they EARN FUNDS to build their facilities? Take BITS OF MONEY from VISITORS to Las Vegas, keep the money, MISLEAD them, EARN INTEREST for a year then DENY THE OFFER? Even if they return the money, THINK ABOUT THESE FIGURES: there were 39,668,221 visitors to Las Vegas last year if only 1% (396,682) of the visitors purchased this offer for $174, Grandview Marketing could glean $69,022,668!!! Even at 2% interest they would earn $1,380,453.36 on this amount. Quite a deal!!!
