This was our second time to the ballpark, and each time, things did not go as planned. Last year, it was $15.00 per person for the suite and the food. There was not nearly enough food to go around, and we ran out almost instantly. We gave the Airhogs a second chance this year, thinking that with the new format, we would be able to control how much food was ordered, and the problem would be solved. Yet again, we were extremely disappointed with our experience.
Upon arrival to the suite, the beer in the fridge was not cold whatsoever. I m not sure if it had just been put in the fridge, or if the fridge itself needed to be replaced- I think it was the latter, because throughout the night, the beer remained room temp; regardless, it was extremely aggravating. On top of that, the food was not set out at the start of the game. My counterpart arrived about 30 minutes after the game started, at which point, the food was still not set out. There was a rain delay, which would have been fine, had we had food to eat, but alas, this was not the case. It didn t start coming out till at least 45 minutes after the game started. What was the point of all the pre-planning if the food was not going to be served at the start of the game? It felt like we walked in with our large group and placed our order on the spot. I can imagine that the kitchen might have been worried that we might not show up due to the rain, yet it was confirmed earlier in the day that the game would still be held and that we would still be in attendance, so I m not sure why the food was not set out for us for the start of the game.
What I wonder is how you can get away with charging $62.00 for a fruit plate- advertising that it served 12- when really it could have served 2. Literally 10 pieces of watermelon, pineapple, and cantaloupe, all of which cost less than 8 to 10 dollars at the store. The bottomless popcorn was solely refilled only when we asked for it to be, and it was way overpriced as well.
I ordered enough cheeseburgers for 12 people, and they gave us 6 pieces of cheese. About 30 minutes after all the burgers were finished, a basket of cheese was dropped off. We had to ask the kitchen for more plates 3 times!!! We were given one bundle of French fries. After approaching the kitchen upwards of 5 times to solely be served what we paid for, they finally told us they didn t even know we ordered 5 bundles of French fries. They rushed to get us more, but at this point, it wasn t even worth it. People were jokingly putting the extra slices of cheese on top of the French fries, because we had so much of both by the end. Shouldn t there have been someone checking it to see if we needed anything, so we could have enjoyed the game? The prices for what we ordered were rather extravagant, as was the $500 suite rental fee. For the prices we paid, we should have gotten much better service than we were given.
There were no souvenirs like we discussed for the kids to play with, and with the rain delay, they were getting pretty restless. I tracked down the mascot and asked if he could make an appearance at the suite, but in all honesty, this should not have been my job.
The facilities themselves were a mess as well. There was bird poop on the couch in the Admiral s Club, and there was no air conditioning in the bathroom or out by the concession stand. A few of our guests made their way to the bar in search of mixed drinks; however, when they got there, there were only sodas and a few cans of beer being served. The heads were removed from the beer taps, and there was no alcohol on the bar. On top of that, there was a square in the middle of the Jumbotron that was not functioning which made everything look like it was censored.

This is a nice place to take the family to see a ball game. At a time when it cost an arm and a leg for family entertainment here is a reasonable alternative for family time.

On June 3rd we planned 10U Baseball team season ending party at the TX Airhog game on July 6th in the pool area. Spoke to Jason and he sent me the agreement the same day.. ( June 3rd) I signed the agreement and sent it back right away. on June 3rd On Monday July 1 at 9:00pm I receive a email from Jason , not a phone call even, that they overbooked the pool area and we are not able have our event. First, that alone is wrong and unprofessional. Jason has not bothered to call me or offer a solution for us, just that they can reschedule two weeks away. Do NOT schedule a event with the TX Airhogs

The Texas Airhogs experience continues to disappoint. It's been 3 years at least since this place went downhill. They still haven't sorted out the liquor license, and now the concessions are laughable. So, don't expect to get a beer and bratwurst to go with your baseball game. You'll have to settle for a sad warmed up hotdog and a soda in a bottle. Oh, and in the middle of the *second* inning tonight, one of the two concession stands closed. During what had to be the quietest baseball game on Earth, we heard this loud metal dragging sound, which was the garage door closing at the concession stand. It's all very unprofessional. Don't waste your money.
