Picking up and dropping off kids is very dangerous. People are speeding and cutting people off. I am surprised that someone has not been hurt or killed. The school needs to make this a priority. The school also needs to make an effort to help students that are bullied.

The athletics and music program are great. The education is good as well, however the students here need a lot more of it. There's always a fight happening in the hallways, major peer pressure, and explicit photos of girls and boys always being released. It's not like this for the kids with a good amount of popularity, but for your average teenager looking to get through high school with the least amount of stress possible, and good grades, it's absolute misery. I know for a fact I speak for many students here, but not all of them. My time here was something I wish I could get back. A major let-down for kids coming from the junior high schools in the GIPS district.
I went to this school my freshman year. I can honestly say that no school in the country compares to this one. Their music program is fantastic, same goes for their theater, and clubs. I was enrolled in the AFJROTC program and loved every minute of it. It helped me grow as person and really gave me a reality check. The instructors are wonderful people, and the program exceeds excellence. I highly recommend GISH for anyone and everyone. The staff is just as lovely.
Man, this place is a bit of a labyrinth. Navigating the hallways almost requires a map to be done successfully. But once you find your way to the room you need, they are nice, but a little lacking in color. White cinder block walls make me feel like a prisoner. Add some color to fix that. The auditorium is also very nice, and the seats are reasonably comfortable
