I will definitely be coming back to this hotel whenever I come to Vegas! I give it a 4 star only because the hotel is a bit outdated. But everyone s service at the hotel is definitely a 5 star. Nick at the front desk was awesome at check in.

Not to far from the airport. Hyatt's shuttle service picks u guests every 30 minutes from the airport.
I checked in a room on the 1st floor. The room was noisy as it was near the road. I could often hear cars whooshing, emergency vehicles moving around, honking, etc. The room is very spacious with large tv, computer desk, mini fridge, sofa with ottoman, ironboard. Not sure why they didn't keep a microwave in the room.
In the morning they served hot breakfast which had waffles, sausage, eggs, fruits, yoghurt, juice, bread, coffee, tea(tazo), cereals.

We stayed here for our first two nights in town and the room was clean, staff was friendly and we had a pleasant stay. I had a hard time finding our room and there was a very helpful round lady that offered to show us to the room, a first in a large hotel like this. We'll be happy to come back

I stayed here for business at UNLV, and could not be happier. The room was very large (especially for 1 person) and included a living room area and large flat-screen tv. The bathroom was a little small and shabby, but the rest of the room MORE than made up for it. The bed was comfortable and the room even included a minibar and refrigerator. It is a great place to get some work done in a crazy city...and best of all, the staff was very helpful. I am stuck in town for at least an extra night (weather), and they helped me in every way possible.

Wonderful hotel at a great price. Staff was very professional and welcoming. Rooms were very clean, fresh linens and towels, beds were comfortable. Free breakfast exceeded my expectations. Will definitely be back. Best hotel off the Las Vegas strip, without Casino or the smoke smell.

Fantastic hotel! not to far from the strip either. They have very friendly, warm, and welcoming staff through out! I had a small issue with my in room iron that was remedied right away. The breakfast is absolutely fantastic and a great way to start off your day. The room was also extremely clean! Cant wait to return.

Stayed here for a conference at UNLV. The facility was great. The Hyatt Place is a great hotel if you want to avoid staying on the strip. The rooms are spacious and quiet. The complimentary breakfast far exceeded every expectation I had for a hotel. The food was always hot, freshly prepared and the dining area was always kept clean. Im huge on customer service and from the front desk staff to the managers to the cleaning crew, everyone was friendly and said "hello". I would highly recommend for the business traveler, small families and conference goers

Staff workers very hard but could not hide the fact this is a very rundown hotel. Everything is dirty or broken. Need a huge upgrade starting with elevator and lobby. Alarms going off all night. Junk car in parking lot for entire stay. Was told by Becky, front desk manager, it was the hotel manager (David) car! Could not use pool. Enjoy breakfast with family as well as homeless people on drugs, was told this is a common event. No one to stop them and keep us safe. Was not what a Hyatt should be. Clearly poor management....

The staff was very helpful and willing to make recommendations about anything I asked. The rooms were comfortable and well furnished, but the hotel does sit under one of the Las Vegas airport landing approaches, so it can get loud. The breakfast is simple, but well executed and freshly made every morning and was something I actually looked forward to. With just a short walk to either side of the Strip, I think the Hyatt blends comfort and price very well.

Decor is modern but dated and the room is a bit oddly laid out. The AC unit runs continuously or not at all. It's either on or off, no auto. I cannot stand noise while sleeping so I had to choose between being hot or listening to the fan run all night. The hot water didn't stay hot too long. There is a hotel shuttle. The pool looks small but there is a hot tub and outdoor lounge area. Staff was helpful and there are restaurants in walking distance.

Did not enjoy our stay. Loud music coming from a club nearby played all night, so loud that you can feel the bass in your room. Music didn't stop until 4 am. Won't stay here again. This was a Saturday night stay.

During our stay at the Hyatt Place Las Vegas, my family had a wonderful time. The room was comfortable, especially the bed. A mini safe is available to store your valuables and the mini fridge kept our drinks frozen. There was a variety of food to choose for breakfast depending on the day including eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, fruit, cottage cheese, toast, cereal, oatmeal, waffles and french toast. I enjoyed everything but the eggs. The staff is very friendly and are quick to give you a smile when passing by. They were very helpful when I got locked outside by the pool area because my key got deactivated by being next to my phone (oops). It is also walking distance to several good places to eat and very close to the strip and the airport. The only thing that was a bit annoying was the false fire alarm that went off once each day we were there. I didn't check to see if it was because someone used the wrong door or lit something up in the rooms or what but it scared my little one when the noise sounded each time. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and had a great experience.

This was honestly the best hotel experience I've ever had! The room was spacious, had a lot of amenities, and the beds were very comfortable soft and clean. It's all about the minor and major details for me and this hotel hit every single one. Keep up the good work!

As always, Hyatt Place is such a great way for ending any travel day; being home away from home. We did visit the Hoover Dam Bypass and this was so convenient to reach.
No complains whatsoever!

The rooms were clean but if you request a mini fridge or microwave they may not give it to you even of they promised. The bathrooms were in bad condition and the drainage was bad. Customer service was poor. Choose wisely next time

ADA king room doesn't have a hide a bed couch as s...

ADA king room doesn't have a hide a bed couch as stated. 3 people to a king size bed.
Most hotels wouldn't let me book this,
I was told a family of 6 booked that same room.
ADA doesn't have 2 beds in this hotel.
My husband slept on the couch and my daughter and I slept on the king size bed.
The next morning per my request we moved to a Non ADA king room as we don't sleep in double beds. That room had a hide a bed couch.
One of the nights the A/C kicked off. We got back to the room it was hot. Went down and maintenance reset the breaker box. It took a few hours to cool down.
Our other daughter showed up mid week. As a birthday surprise we got her the room next door. We took off for the day and when we got back. I went to set up her room. It was hot. Turned down the air. Maintenance tried to reset the breaker box. That didn't work. So we had to move her room.
The safes have key locks, not numbers.
Didn't like that.
The elevator after a few nights didn't have lights to tell you what floor your on.
There was no numbers when the door opened.
Was not impressed with breakfast.
I Didn't check each day. On some of the days we did have plans.
We found some nice places for breakfast.
They do have the best chicken quesadilla I think we have had.
Pictures,
2 double beds and king bed.

Room was decently clean, but the blinds don't close all the way soliciting an unwanted wakeup call at 5:45 am from the sunlight. Due to the incompetence of the staff, our second night was not put into the books and we were thrown out of our hotel room on a Saturday evening.

Rooms are nice/ breakfast had a nice variety.

I don't care for the bathroom layout with the sink open to the room. Also you definitely hear the planes. I would stay at Hyatt Place again, but not this one.

Sheri was incredible accommodating! She went above and beyond when their nighttime employee wasn t up to speed on the globalist rules! I was blown away with her professionalism and attentiveness. She was amazing! Breakfast is sub par. ALL BREADS were dried out. Fruit looked like it was sitting in fridge for days! Not many options for my dairy free daughter after hose items weren t acceptable

Our stay at the hyatt was unfortunately not the greatest. Location is great. Near the airport and quick shuttle to the strip
Unfortunately rooms esthetically look nice but are pretty run down functionally. Our bedspread had weird red stains. The bathroom door was not planed on the bottom so it would catch on the tile about halfway when opening the door. This led to a few times running into the door because it would catch part way open when pushing and stop and I would be still moving into the bathroom. They limit the level the A/C can go to which means the rooms stay borderline cool because I dont think the thermostat was very accurate. In the middle of the night we would wake up sweating despite it being set to the coldest level we could put it at. Overall because the temp was a little warmer it caused the room in general to smell a little funny. Our friends stayed in a different room at the same time and they said that their sink would let out LOUD gurgles throughout the entire night. I asked a few staff people if they would look into but I never heard anything back. Wish I could say I would be back or recommend others to stay here but I probably won't.

The staff was extremely nice and helpful, the only downside was our room. When we got in the floor was wet and the pipes made lots of noise. When we got in it had the faint smell of sulfur. But the breakfast and staff made up for it.

No stars at all!!!!!!! But I had to pick one to post.

My niece and I flew in on September 29th 2017. After a long flight we were tired and want to shower and sleep. We came to the reception area it was nice and clean. The receptionist was very nice and we were given at a goody bag which we would have loved to enjoy.
Our room from first appearance seemed clean and neat. But after looking around we noticed the heater wasn't attached well and a silver fish was on our wall. So we immediately left and informed the front end about our issue and was quickly given another room. This room was the exact same but this time the heater was in order. We checked the room again for any insects and from our first glance it seemed we were clear.
My niece noticed a flat black bug crawling on one of the beds. She screamed and I came over to see maybe it was a fly or something. Far worse than a fly... I discovered it was a bed bug crawling all over one of our beds. We took pictures and called down to inform them of our find.
They had house keeping come up and look. She looked at it said"oh" and thumped the bug on the floor and left. We exited the room promptly and let them know since she had not. The receptionist said they don't have bug problems and haven't had a complaint.
We showed pictures and the video of an apparent bug problem in the hotel. She called for a manager and he offered us another room and we did not accept his offer... we were done.
So at this time it was 12am in the morning we had to look around for other nearby hotels to stay at. He didn't give an apology or offer us a ride to another hotel. So we had to find our own way around.

After two hours or more , we eventually found a hotel with a clean room and NO BUGS!!!!!!. I will never stay at this hotel ever again. Btw the hotel was the Hard Rock Hotel.

I stayed in this Hyatt Place for three consecutive nights. The staff has always been friendly during the stay. Although they gave me a room facing the main street, I could bear the noise annoyance! Only the planes taking off or landing were disturbing me sometimes, but I was fine with that. It was just a 20 minutes walk or so to reach the Strip. Breakfast selection could be a bit more various. I would choose this hotel again.
