Love the place n the food. Their nice terrace with an open view on the lake make the experience very enjoyable.i highly recommend for a drink or even dinner. The breakfast was average but dinner was very delicious.
A superb hotel in the grandest of ways. Celebrated its 150th anniversary while I was there. Wonderful party! Room, dining rooms and bars are so good and beautiful that I am at a loss to properly describe them.

Very classy place, very nice rooms. Big flat on the restaurant, where we had cold, very long service and little worthy of the place (not pro). In addition the price is not justified for the quantity to share. Too bad and disappointing!

Great hotel well located just a short walk to the centre with private access through the garden to the lakeside. Very well equipped clean bright rooms many with lake views. Food is exceptional but not cheap. The only downside is the lack of a proper bar or lounge and the fact that what limited facility there is only opens from 6.30pm so you cannot even enjoy an afternoon drink in the garden overlooking the lack. A real shame as this does spoil the overall high standard of the hotel and general feel of the stay
We spent an evening there, one night and enjoyed a brunch, all on the occasion of a wedding in April 2017.
Accompanied by a 2-year-old child, we appreciated: the added cot in the bedroom, the loaner nightlight and especially the babysitting during Sunday brunch!
The little touches left in the room when we arrived (balloons and personalized notes) were nice.

Very nice old style hotel on the lake. Slightly cheaper than the 3 Couronnes next door. I liked the restaurant. But they had forgotten my starter. The food was very good and prepared with the best ingredients.
The wine list is a bit one-sided. Just a Riesling from Germany. But more than 10 Gutedel from Switzerland. Nothing against Swiss wines, but a Chasselas is more for a pleasant summer evening with friends.

Good value for money in an idyllic setting at the entrance to Vevey. Terrace, neat furniture and garden, attentive staff. I recommend.
Upon arrival, the valet parking was welcoming and very insightful. He was beyond my expectations. From check-in to check-out, I felt that it made my stay more enjoyable than perfect.

Just a wonderful place to pop in to. Didn't stay here but had a late afternoon tea after a visit around the lake to Montreux. Service was perfect.
This hotel excels on its location, however the staff feel it's their personal lakeside home and view 'customers' as a mere inconvenience.
This may sound a bit over the top, but my experience was just this. Wanting to treat my girlfriend to a special lunch by the lake I asked if I could have a table outside. My mistake was to turn up at 1.45pm for lunch without a reservation and told 'NON' and physically pushed out of the restaurant by the waitress's arms as if we were an errant pigeon! Not what you expect.
If you are thinking about lunch here - don't! Get the train to Lausanne to any hotel by the lake where they respect customers, or better still go to McDonalds! At least they give you a smile and know what 'customer'; service is.
Exquisite, fantastic, elegant. 45 minutes away from Geneva this Hotel, located in from of the lake, is a truly experience from its gastronomic offer, to the decoration of its rooms. A superb service and attention to details. It has it all. A place to never forget!

Flawless Sunday brunch, wide choice of appetizer, hot dish including barbecue (early September), cheese, sweet dessert. Fast service and friendly staff. Baby leave and children's playroom. We eat well and quietly. I highly recommend.
A verry good 5 star hotel BUT! the lack of response of the roomservice and the not so cooperative staff makes me think that one of the stars is just clinging on.
So, my Wife and myself and baby, entered just to have a little snack..
They had no Menus to offer us at the table..
We ordered two club sandwiches and two coke's....
We asked for the bill...
84.00euros...
I then asked the waiter and he said it is correct..
Very very very very shocking at the price..
It is not correct to just make up a price and their is no menus..

Superb old world hotel on Lake Geneva. Really comfortable beds and decent gym, though i would recommend a morning run on the lake.

Amazing hotel with state-of-art decoration, romantic atmosphere. A place not-to-miss in Geneva lake area
Swiss hospitality is a myth.
They had a cellebration for 150 years and it was suposed to last from 12 to 18 o'clock. But since stinginess is a trait, by 15 the garden was closed...explaining : " it was too succesful" to hide the ideea that the funds were little and the few drinks on the house ran short. I know that nowadays the events are the new publicity but you can not do that with low budget aiming for 6 hours...whatever the diplomatic answer will be, will not do the typical cheap trick, as some people came from Geneva, believing what they read on the big announce.
The view is great and the hotel is old but decently maintained. Service is low to average. Expect unjustified high prices in a slightly boring city.
Beautiful restored hotel, its restaurant is spectacular it eats very very well, excellent attention, spectacular view especially in spring and summer. Stuck of the lake. Beautiful place
