Grand California Hotel Review

We had a spectacular stay. Of course it is expensive, but you are immersed in the magic of Disney, which for me is priceless! The beds were extra comfy and they arranged my daughter's toys at turn down which was very sweet. The room was clean and everyone was extremely friendly. I have stayed at almost all the hotels in the Disneyland area, including the other two Disney properties here in California. Now I am spoiled and only want to stay at the Grand Californian!

This place is beautiful and definitely Grand. The middle lobby is gorgeous especially during the holidays when it's decorated for Xmas. Staff friendly and helpful.

We love this hotel. Accomodations are thee best when your a DVC MEMBER. this is the best way to enjoy a vacation with home feel accomodations.

An extremely beautiful hotel, extremely comfortable beds, and very talented and capable staff ... very friendly atmosphere and wonderful! And it is right in the Disneyland Resort.

The Grand is just a beautiful place to stay. The restaurants are awesome and the rooms are very nice. It's connected to California Adventure Park so it saves time when your at the parks.

Pros: Convenient location, friendly staff, cool slide in the pool area, clean rooms and comfortable beds.

Cons: The park entrance was closed through the hotel, no valet service, they wouldn t allow door dash up to the room to deliver and made us come down.

Can you really gonwrong with Disney? Friendly helpful staff. Room was spacious for our family of 5. Loved the balcony. I hated that thwre wasn't a tub, but apparently you have to request that when booking. It's a little hard to bathe small kids in the shower but we made the most of it. Would definitely book again in the future.

Location is fantastic as you can come back during the day to rest and go out again. The entrance to the park is literally just there. The rooms are also spacey and nice - love the chocolates too. Breakfast and snack were also good. Definitely worth the money and I wouldn t stay anywhere else when visiting Disneyland here.

Check in was a mess and I had to ask 3 different cast members before I found out which building our room was in. Food was not worth the price (except the nachos). There is no room service and mobile ordering didn't work at all while we were there. Getting to use a hot tub was a joke because they're first come first served while only having one household in them at a time. The pools were nice though. The room was cute but didn't feel really "disney like". It was nice and close to the park but I dont think I'd ever pay to stay there again.

Don't stay here now. Can't get restaurant reservations. 2 hour wait to get into the pool.

My kid forgot his toothbrush, we asked the front desk for one. They said they'd send one right up. At 11 PM, they called the room and asked if we still needed the toothbrush.

It's just very poorly managed right now.

Maybe it'll get better?
